Did you try safe mode and see what happens? Normally during boot up time, press f8 and it will give you the option to go into safe mode. That could be the case of a corrupted files somewhere but you cannot tell until you start troubleshooting. If that does not help then post your problem here and someone else or maybe myself will try to help you. Hope this helps, good luck...
You PC has crashed, you need to run a recovery (which will lead to format the partition and reinstall the O/s, that means all your data will be lost).
Restart the notebook and start tapping F11 key,you will come to Recovery Manager, click on Advance Options, and select System Recovery and click on next, select No without backingup the files (as this option most of the times fails). Click on next and wait for 30-40 mins for the reinstallation to get completed.
this might be an issue with a corrupted settings on the windows normal mode. try doing msconfig on safe mode and uncheck everything on startup. if this wont fix it, reinstall windows.
turn on machine and hit F8 to into safe mode. If cannot load to safe mode i suspected your Operating system is corrupted. You might need to reformat your machine. Back up your files first before doing so because everything will be wiped out.
The 3 beeps are correct diagnosis for the screen problems.
reboot, keep tapping F8, till you get to
the start up screen ( black dos screen )
Try the last known good first at the top, let it roll.
If this fails, try safe mode, let it boot up, then try a system restore,
start, all progz, accessories, system tools, system restore, try go back in time.
If you cannot get into the "black" start up screen at all, your video card, has failed.
because you should get minimum of VGA graphics in safe mode.
if you do, then the video driver is corrupted and needs updating
I have the same problem with my hp pavilion! ive tried everything and cant get anything to appear on the screen. Keeps rebooting every 15 sec or so. Did you ever find a solution to this?
This is known Webcam issue in DV6000 notebooks. To resolve or narrow down the issue, we have to check few things.
First open Device Manager.
Please follow these steps to open Device Manager:
1. Right Click on 'My Computer' icon on Desktop and choose Properties. 2. The System properties Window opens. 3. Click Hardware tab and then click the Device Manager button.
Expand + Imagining Devices and check if the HP Webcam is listed under it.
If Webcam is not listed there, then you have to contact HP to get the BIOS update.
If it is listed there, right click on it and select Disable. Again right click on it and select Enable.
Now open any applications like Quickplay and check if Webcam is working or not.
Please reply me if that won't resolve the issue, I can provide more work arounds
