I have a Samsung SRS594HNSS double door fridge/freezer. My freezer works perfectly but the fridge temperature is stuck at 13c. I have cleaned the fridge and turned it off to find there is ice in the bottom part of the fridge....please help.

check its internal fan if bad needs to be changed

compressor or gas leak
get a technician in for a proper diagnosis
make sure that there is power at the wall as the circuit breaker may have tripped

it seems that you have something in the freezer blocking the air from coming to the fridge, it can also be cover by an item from the fridge.

Hi its sounds like you have to get the temperature thermostat looked at.

Check the blower fan

Verify that the coils are clean. Pull the grate from the bottom and use a brush to clean the coils. This may be causing the problem.

I have a Samsung Waltz double door fridge, i had a noise from the fan for a few days and now the noise has gone so the fan has stopped and the fridge is not cooling as normal, freezer is working ok. This fan would switch off when the door was opened

Thanks so much for the advice. I just gently pried the door sensor switch on my Samsung RB1855SL out with a butter knife and then pulled out the electrical connection and it fired up right away. It looks like some orange juice seeped in and corroded it. What a relief to have the fridge working again, not to mention to not have to listen to the beeping.

You need to check the limit thermostat for the defrost in the back of the refrig section. I replace it with a standard bi-metal type from a Frigidaire to keep the problem from reoccuring.
