Windows is not loading have black screen with white cursor then goes to acer and fast out again to white cursor

Black screen - no flashing white cursor in the upper left corner - no picture at all, i.e. the initial Dell start-up screen doesn't show up either:
- LCD is dead or isn't getting a signal - not an easy fix; or
- the LCD isn't being sent a signal - holding down the function [Fn] key and press display Function key to toggle through its settings (LCD panel only, Rear VGA output only, both LCD and VGA output)

Black screen - flashing white cursor in the upper left corner - the screen goes black after the windows loading screens come up but before the windows login screen comes up - it is probably a windows video driver problem. Try starting in Windows Safe Mode with VGA. Press [F8] after the Dell startup screen disappears to access the windows startup menu

Not sure, but try loading Safe Mode by pressing F8 during boot and lowering screen resolution. In Safe Mode you can even run System Restore. It load to a previous date that you choose.

dont know d reasons. but try with win xp.
Format c drive properly.
then if you want upgrade with win7..

if you can get hold of a windows disc try booting from that and using the repair option.

The hard drive has issues, or the window files are corrupt. I suggest a computer repair store to retrieve files and test hardware.

go into bios by hittin F10 when it starts up go to diag and run a test on hard drive to see if its bad. tell me if it passes bc if its good there are a couple of other things it could be.

I would boot in safe mode and attempt to run a scan for viruses or malware. That is what I would think the problem was
You could also do a system restore to before this problem started in safe mode. If you dont know how to get to safe mode google it. something like "Safe mode Windows Vista"

WIth the limited fault description its a guess at best. you probably have a corrupted driver or hard disk fault. If you can try a replacement hard drive and reload OS you should get progress.

If it's only 5 months old, then it's still under warranty. Right now, I'd advise taking it back to have it fixed instead of taking it apart to replace hardware and possibly voiding a warranty.

Try use last known settings that worked. If that doesn't work,reload your operating system, sounds like something might be corrupt.
