Norton has a very good chat session and e-mail respond. I have the same problem with Ghost, It will not back up my pre-installed partition. :O(
You can also try to contact your computer support Team ( now I do not know which computer you have), If you give me the model and name i can provide the link to you.
Hope that helps Have a nice day over there IF NOT then return here
gho is the extension of backup file
format saved by Norton Ghost, that is Norton backup program. GHO file
extension can only be opened with Norton Ghost, and restored on an hard drive, after extraction you can save data on optical support using any CD burner software.
If you tried removing Ghost yourself by deleting foulder or files then it will not appear in the add/remove list. Try reinstalling it and then using removal tool. Make sure you have correct one for version and your OS. My advice is stay away from Norton products, they severely slow down performance and hinder daily activities. There are free tools online that work much better.
yes it is available download the latest version of norton removal........ if the problem is same then download the perfect uninstaller ......it uninstall that software perfectly........
you need to remove Norton with Nortons own removal tools. Add/remove program not the same thing as it leaves stuff in the registry. Go to norton.com and get removal tool..Run it, then try the re-install.
