for as long as they have the same ampere rating that won't cause a problem

Try shorting across this fuse protector IP1280 (looks like a resistor) on the power board. See more detailed solution I posted in this forum for a similar question.

Check little yellow fuse (ip1280) on the supply pcb. I believe it's rated @400ma.

i have the same issues. Just took a screw driver to the four sides and opened it up. Took 5 mintues. Pulled them out.

This is a major defect in the SA-HT830V dual deck that Panasonic did not honor! I've had two of these and the full lighted display blew out on both of them and one music channel does not work on the dvd player anymore. Piece of junk and I'm very upset with Panasonic for not helping/supporting their products!
