Hp psc 2410 photosmart driver win7

HP no longer provides support for drivers for this printer. The newer Windows OS will support the printer natively, but sometimes it requires a little finesse from the user. Here is a link to an HP forum where folks tell how they worked out the communications issue for the print and scanning functions. Hope this helps!

Hp 2410 won't fax

go to menu option and choose the option fax and set the parameter like auto receive or manual set the ring auto answer mode after certain ring. If it is in auto receiving mode it will receive the fax after the ring which you set.make sure the phone wire which you insert in fax machine getting proper dial tone and getting out going calling facility.

Fax will not answer

go to fax settings and change the fax speed to the lowest and also turn off aut reduction if that does not work run a fax test should be under the tools option on the printer else you can run it from the printer driver

I keep getting an error 421 when i try to fax something and i am not able to recieve faxes... i have an hp psc 2410 aii in one printer

Have you DSL switch in place. you must plug printer into that then the switch into phone socket.

Uninstall then reinstall, being patient and following instructions when asked for information.

try going into the advanced fax settings and turning off error correction mode. also if you have distinctive ring on the phone line make sure it is set to the right number of rings for the line. ex. fax line is second number set the answer ring type or distinctive rings to double

Try going into the fax menu and setting preferences. Insure that you have a good telephone connection to the outside line. Try going to www.hp.com and troubleshoot. Good luck.

Hp 2410 can receive but not fax out

Your fax transmission protocols might be set to a non-standard. Go through the fax menu and try to reset. You may also have a dial out setting, added or missing, an additional number. (i.e. 9- to get out of the office)

Make sure that youre using a regular line not dsl or voip line make sure youve connected it to the right port it should be line 1 connect the printer direct to the phoneline check settings "rings to answer" must be set to 3 ring you should have distinctive ring it must be set to all rings check fax speed it must medium then run a fax test all of these are under fax setting on your printer send fax tp 1800-hpfaxme,if recived a reply your good to go...otherwise call hp support...
