Can i move all message from phone memory to memory card ?

Hello there,
To transfer your inbox messages to your memory card, simply go to the inbox messages, then select option, then scroll to mark all, when you are through with selecting all, then you select option, from the list select move marked.
It willask where you want to move it to, then you search for you memory card, and select a folder you wand to move it to on your memory card and it will be moved there.
But you will not be receiving text directly to your memory card only on the phone then you can move them in due time.

the memory card made just to save media like videos mp3 pics...etc but to fix that just move all what you can move it from phone to memory card because the phone memory is shared between contacts messages media ...etc and you can delete what you need not from messages

1. To save files received from bluetooth on sd card: Open messaging. Go to settings. Scroll to the end and select other settings. Change the default memory to Memory card. It will ask to copy or move the messages and file from phone memory to sd card. Select move to memory card.
Now all files will go to sd memory card.
2. To save all applications to sd card, open ovi store, go to settings, change installation preference from phone memory to sd card

Mostly, messages can only be stored on either the phones memory or the sim cards memory, if your sim cards memory is full you will receive a warning each time you are about to receive a message.

Then you can select the option of where you want your messages to be stored either phone or som.

To move your messages, got to the message, select move from the options, then you select where you want the messages to be, then you select the memory card.

Some of this phones do not come with the option for you to save in memory card, but you can move them to either your draft, outbox or saved items.

With some phones, you have the option to move your received and sent messages to your memory card. This is useful when your phone memory is full but you still want to save your messages. You can only move messages, not copy them.




To save a message on a memory card:

1. Select Menu > Messaging > Messages.
2. Select Manage messages, and open the folder the message is saved in.
3. Highlight the message and select Options.
4. Select Move to > Memory card.

Hi, As you want to move the messages from Inbox to Memory card, Moving to Memory card is not possible because messages are either saved in the Handset memory or in your SIM memory.You can save music files, Pictures etc but messages cannot be saved. Thank you for using Fixya

hi,,,,,,,,first of tell me u want to move messages from mem card to phone memory or computer.................
* if u want to move the messages to the computer then u wud need to install the pc suite of ur mobile phone,,,,after that synchronise it with the mobile....den it ll done ur job
* if u want to move the messages to phone memory....den in messages say mark all messages->den move it to phone memory(desribing some of the folder).

In SE Z550i there is no option to move text messages from phone memory to external memory card. The phone comes with 20MBs of onboard memory which is shared by phone's functionalities such as calnder, to do lists, phonebook/contacts, messaging, installed games and applications, etc. The problem that you've mentioned above can occur when you store/install other files such .mp3, photos, games and applications, etc. on your phone's memory instead of the external memory stick. Please check if there are any mp3s, photos, etc. stored on your phone memory and move them to the memory card. In future, try to keep the phone memory as free as possible from mp3s, photos, etc. and please do not install too much of games and applications in the phone memory, instead install them on the external memory. If you have already installed many games and applications in your phone please check if they are installed on your phone memory and if they are please move them to the memory card.

1. its an easy method to Move messages from phone to memory card
2. Select >Messaging> from the main menu. Select >options in the messaging. Select >Settings.
3. in that Settings options. Locate >Others
4.Select >others. Select >Memory in use. in that change from Phone memory to memory card.
