How exactly do I do a hard reset?

I tried wiping it clean and reformatting it to FAT32 - that didn't work - I got it wiped clean and reformatted, but it's still in Chinese.

I tried using Sansa's utility to download and overwrite the firmware, but I have the latest with 4.x.x and can't get the utility to overwrite it since I apparently have the most up-to-date firmware already. I'm stuck.

Any ideas on how to do a hard reset?

Somehow my language got changed from English. How do I reset the language or just reset the player to factory settings?

From the main menu, select the Settings menu (four slide controls). Language is the second item in that menu, and you should find English in there.

1) Turn on the player.

2) Press the "menu" button in the bottom left corner.

3) Scroll and select Settings. The icon is a picture of four sliders next to each other.

4) Scroll and select the Language item, which is the fifth item on the Settings menu.

Hello,

Sansa manuals can be found on sandisk.com:
  1. Enter the link sandisk.com in internet explorer
  2. Select Support
  3. Enter manual in the [Search All Answers] bar. For the m250 enter manual m200 in the [Search All Answers] bar.
  4. Select your manual from the list
How to get the the player in english:
  1. For the m250, enter m200 english in the [Search All Answers] bar
  2. Select the link "Navigating to the Language Menu" and follow the steps
I'd appreciate your vote if this was helpful.
