Following the beginning of digital switchover, pressing the menu button only comes up with 'picture quality' and is unable to access 'installation'.

If your TV is not in Digital it won't give you the tuning option.
Select DTV from the on screen menu, (like scart 1 scart 2 etc). When you have found DTV select it and then press menu for tuning.
Hope that helps.

My new digital flat screen has been working well with good pictures on both digital and analogue suddenly the digital colour has gone funny - if it was a computer printout I would say the black ink has run out. The digital ariel supplies two more TV and they are working well with good colour in both systems. The analogue on the affected TV has a very good picture - all colours crisp but once I change to DTV funny colour appears. Can you help please?

Poor picture quality on alba LCD TV after recent digital switchover.

Digital TV uses less airspace than analogue TV, so after the digital switchover there'll also be more room for services such as high-speed mobile broadband and high-definition television (HD TV).

Digital switchover

I also have the Sony IDTV KD-28DX4OU Digital TV.After the digital switchover I lost BBC1 and BBC2 despite retuning three times.
I contacted Digital switchover people (useless) and they passed the buck to Sony.I contacted Sony and they said they cannot fix the problem and that I should get a digital set top box. So the £650 I spent on integrated Digital TV has been wasted. If like me your cheesed off with this then I suggest you complain here

Retuning digital TV

You need to use the (what looks like a large sattellite) button to retune your tv.
Some Samsung tv's let you access the button but other models have a "D MENU" button on the remote. Press this button, then scroll down to the icon that looks like a large sattellite. Then scroll across and click on "Auto Store" this will then go through all the available channels

Cannot select "camera menu" from the Top Menu

If the camera is in Auto mode those items cannot be selected because the camera is already using factory default settings and they cannot be changed, If you press the Ok button and change to P mode then you will be able to access all of those menu settings and make any changes you wish to the camera settings.

F2-1000T Digital Set-top Box.

There are three ways you can connect a DVD player to a TV. Component video gives the best picture quality, but requires 3 cables for the video signal alone. S-video needs only 1 cable but it isn’t as good as component video. Composite video is the easiest connection to make, but gives the lowest picture quality.

My pictures are not the quality I expected. What can I do?

Use the Quality setting on your camera to select a picture resolution. To change the quality setting: Press the Menu button. Select Picture Quality, and then press the OK button. Select the Picture Quality setting you want to use, and then press the OK button. Press the Menu button to exit the menu. NOTE: The setting remains until you change it.
