I have Belkin's Play Wireless USB Adapter f7d4101 v1. The installation process (on a desktop computer - windows 7) works correctly, at the end I am asked to reboot my computer. But when my computer reboots, It doesn't work. So I look at "Change Adapter Settings" in Windows 7 it shows that my Wireless Network Connection for The USB Adapter is Disabled. So, I try to enable it and it won't enable. When I try to toubleshoot it says there might be a problem with the driver for the wireless network connection adapter and repairing as an administrator doesn't help. I hope you can help.

I don't think it's a belkin issue I have the same one and I did buy another type and ended up taking it back because it wouldn't even pick up a signal whereupon I was told windows updates messes with them to which I thought er right but as it turns out it my belkin played up si I restored to before a critical update and hey it works again.

Try to check if the adapter has been disabled in the network sttings.Go to network and sharing center, on the left side of window select change adapter settings, now on the new screen if the network adapter that you are trying to use has a red x on the icon, click on it and above it some options should appear, select enable this device. Also you need to check in your device manager to be sure that your power settings are correct for all USB ports. In device manager (find it in the control panel) find the universal serial bus controller option and click on the arrow to expand selection. Go to each line that says USB root hub and right click , select properties, select the power management tab at the top and make sure that the box is unchecked that says allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. You will need to do this for every line that is titled USB host controller. I hope this was helpful.

Belkin F7D4101 v1 Play Wireless USB Adapter: Plug it in, no green indication lights, no response from the Adapter at all. Computer doesn't recognize that the Adapter is even plugged in.

Hi, Belkin adapter need to be configuration also with the same at your router or ISP provider so your connection will be an range.

The first think you need to know if what is your Wireless security mode WPA/WEP64bit or 128 and what is the channel of your signal.

Depend of the windows operating system one big solution is a setup windows cero configuration manually without use any software . is you cant resolved it contact me for a remote your pc for a manual configuration.
