Question about Samson C01U Consumer Microphone

My mic continues to make a buzzing noise. I just bought it and barely used it. It was working perfectly and then it started doing it. It works sometimes but not anymore. when I hold it in my hand it buzzes less. Can you please help me, or tell me a way I can fix it. I really don't want to waste anymore money if this continues.

    So your saying is that I need to take it apart? Also, theres the side of the mic that looks like its poppin out. When I press on this side it becomes better and makes a less humming noise.

    Do you mean to take it apart or dessemble the peices that it comes with? There seems to be a piece on the side that looks like its popping out. When I apply pressure it buzzes less.

This problem need to be fixed, your microphone need to unlock it, and see if there is any piece in a wrong position, try to isolate each piece, without cutting any wires, it seems like a hard process but its not that hard, and remember you should do this unless you are sure that there is no shallow problem like the wire that is plugged onto the computer, see if its appropriately inserted id not do the process yourself.

    i told you you need to avoid the taking it apart process, use it unless there is no alternative solution, you said there is this side that it looks like popping out, when you press it the sound gets better. if you dont want to take it apart, the you'll have to press it every time you want to use it

    No don't take it apart, just try to dissemble that popping out piece, and see if there's anything suspecting

I just bought a Singstar bundle but the mics provide a constant buzzing noise when activated. I've tried different usb hubs and blowing on the ports but didnt work. It is only when the mic's are activated...
We've had the issue since PS3 purchase. I read on another forum today about having plugged the PS3 in the same power extension block as the TV causing the issue. Though this was not the cause of our buzzing on the PS3, it lead me to the fiind the cause of my buzzing noise problem . The issue is caused by use of Power over mains ethernet adapters, in my case these are used to connect my BT Vision unit to the internet. As soon as the unit makes a data connection to it's master unit, the humming starts! We are just going to have to power the nearest adapter off when we wish to make use of the MICs on the PS3!

I ordered two used sm58's and 2 used sm57's ... one of the sm57's works perfectly but all were said to work perfectly. Is there any way that something could have messed them up in the shipping process?...
It's highly unlikely that something failed in shipping. Those mics are built like tanks. They were probably messed up before you bought them or are counterfeits.

I have a problem with my mic, it started making this high freqency noise (when you put a mic close to speakers), so I had to turn the mic off in the control panel. Kenwood KVT-815DVD Unit only buzzes
I bought a Kenwood KVT-815dvd player and got everything hooked up to only find out that it had a security code. The problem now is that I got it from a pawn store and they did not even know that it had a security code on it. So is their a way I can bypass they password or just reset the whole unit so that it does not have one. Also, where is the memory for this unit?

Change the batteries. This is the symptom of batteries that are nearly dead.

Press the mic button in and get a humming noise... worked for about 4 hours yesterday then started this noise again..
Is it the correct mic for the unit? also play with the volume knob. Some times when they go bad when you wiggle them you get a buzz noise.

samson Co1U don't work with windows 7 Hello, When I plug this mic (I test it with 4 PC with windows 7 ) no drivers are found to install it correctly. I can see USB Audio Device in the Device Manager of Windows 7 with an question mark. I tried to uninstal and replug but the problem still continue. In the general properties it's say : This device cannt start code 10. Have you got this problem too ? Have you a solution ? Thank you very much. A poor french boy.
