These devices are pretty simple - as most have only Off / Low / High settings. A manual for a basic model from Select Brands can be viewed or downloaded here. If you want to get a manual for your particular slow cooker, look at the underside of the cooker to find the model number.

Once you have the model number, god to the Select Brands Customer Service page to input the model number. Select "Slow Cookers" for the product type and then choose the model number from the list. if you are unable to find the manual for your slow cooker, you may have luck googling the model name or number or, contacting Select Brands directly via this form.

I hope this helps & good luck! Please rate my reply. Thank you.

I have broken the lid do you have a lid that would fit it

Deloris, try a hardware store or maybe a thrift shop for a lid. You can also try google search your make and model, cover or lid.

I need 2 handles for a 4 quart Cook slow cooker as they both cracked

YOU CAN ORDER THEM FROM THE MANUFACTURER link below

http://www.rivalproducts.com/

or why not pick up one from a thrift store or craig's list and use the handles? probably a lot cheaper. Many brands like GE, toastess, etc are identical

Need a handle for the lid

I have seen this so many times you'd think rival would improve the handle with a better material...
I used a cover handle from a glass covered sause pan, you can get them at the dollar or thrift store- much better handle anyway.
I do not recommend using a drawer nob with teflon washers and a screw that you can get from the hardware store- the threads of the screw may (will) come in contact with the glass and the glass will break.
use a handle from a glass covered pan you already have or spend the 3 - 8 bucks at a dollar or thrift shop, and throw the pan out. it will be worth it just in less agravation and having a functional tool...

31/2 Quart older model crock pot

I just recently got a crock Pot # 3100 in the almond color that someone had left at work many years ago and never picked up. They were going to throw it out. All 3 of the little plastic feet were broken off. I went to a local thrift store and found the same crock pot without the stoneware liner. The case was in perfect shape and still had all 3 plastic feet attached. I paid $2.00 for it and just recycled the old one that I had. I see these at thrift stores pretty frequently and have even seen the lids (glass and plastic) by themselves. If you are looking for replacement parts, Rival does not carry many parts for these older Crock Pots and your local thrift store is an excellent source.

Cracked glaze on new-looking used thrift-store slow-cooker crock

I would not be afraid to use it as they are probably just cracks in the glazing. The heat from cooking would kill any micro organisms. I would err on the side of safety and not store fund in it though. Cook in it then transfer the food for storage. If you did not get a great deal on it and are still apprehensive return it. Good luck Kevin
