If the pics look fine on your camera and computer screens, then the problem is with the printer. If they have the red tint on the screens, then you may have the white balance set to something other than "auto".

When I take pictures with my Power Shot A1100IS my pictures come out with a red tint. What am I doing wrong?

I've seen this before and it's usually a sign of a bad inverter or data cable.

Please insure that you are not using any special lighting filters on the camera before making assumptions. You can check this typically by going through the settings while in Camera mode.

If there are no filters on, you might have a bad camera. Take it back to where you bought it if it's still under warranty. If not, you can call Canon but in most cases the cost to repair a camera exceeds the value depending on how much you paid for it.

Good luck!

My printer keeps printing pictures with a red tint. I changed all the ink cartridges, but it continued doing this. How can I fix it?

Sounds more like the print driver settings are set out of normal. Either set it back to default, or uninstall and reinstall fresh. That would be the first step to troubleshooting. Also check both sides of the carriage rod for a pocket the ink is shot into when it cleans the heads - it may have a build up that is high enough to rub onto the print heads when it parks or cycles, creating a reddish tint.

I have a philips dptv310 55'' rear projection tv... everything works but picture is in constant red tint... any fixes

The Phillips are famous for the coolant needing replacement in the blue and green CRTs which make the screen take on a red tint and the pic will appear dull. You can get the Phillips coolant Kit at www.tvrepairworld.com The kit also contains the CD with instructions

My printer has suddenly started printing terrible quality photos

I discovered I had switched photo paper in the process. The new paper obviously isn't compatible with this printer. I went and purchased more of my regular paper and the pictures began printing well again.
