I did the homework on this one as I did not have a stamp. George Foreman grill is now associated with a company called, as near as I could tell, (Aplalca) anyway you call this number 1 800 231-9786 a recording will come on when asked press 2 Wait for live, fast talking woman and she will register your Grill. You need the model # from bottom of Grill and the four letter imprinted number in the label.
quick and easy.

Salton has merged with another company so their old web address has changed.
The new address, where you can reach them is:
www.saltoninc.com
I hope this helps

Another program may be preventing Firefox from starting. Restart your computer to end all running programs then try starting Firefox again. If Firefox still does not start or if the problem returns, open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del. Go to the "Processes" tab and if you see firefox.exe in the list of running processes highlight it then click on "end process". Repeat the steps if you see other firefox.exe processes. Then start firefox. If firefox loads, try to disable the most recent add-ons installed or disable all add-ons then re-enable them one by one to determine which add-on causes this issue, usually browser add-ons from security software causes this.

How to clean up start up processes

Questions about optimize start up:
How to remove program from start up?
My computer boots very slow? How do I clean up start up processes?
Windows startup very slow, how to fix it?

Why clean up start up processes?
Windows Startup program will load the default programs or processes you add to your computer. The test result shows a new system only boot within 30 seconds. As you install antivirus program or other applications, it becomes very slow. Sometimes, the startup gets bloated not due to your computer behaviors. Malicious software is prone to add useless processes on startup without your known. You are not aware that your computer becomes more and more slow until serious computer problem occurs. Don’t ignore a slow start up, it is the root of Blue Screen and computer freezing.

How to clean up start up processes?
The first thing you should do is to remove spyware or adware from your computer. I prefer to AVG, it is a free anti-virus program. If you want to clean virus completely, you need boot in safe mode and disconnect your Internet.

Hok is a professor with over ten year’s computer experience. He suggest us use ErrorFix. This is a pc optimize tool which can clean up system registry entries, useless program, start up processes and junk files. With this program, your computer will be obviously improved. Just a few clicks, you can remove processes that slow your computer.

What’s more to speed up your computer?
Do not download Peer-to-Peer Download Software! Maybe you are using some software such like YouTube Downloader. These are probably some of the least likely contenders for system-slowdown but they are popular on the internet. Those kinds of program can take up memory space and damage your computer. Also they can automatically add itself as your start up.

Whenever i turn it on it stays for 5minutes then swiych itself off

You obviously have a lot of processes running in the background. Here is a link for the minimum processes you need for win xp:

http://billmullins.wordpress.com/2009/04/18/the-bare-minimum-processes-needed-to-run-windows-xp/

To see how many processes you have running do this:

1. Place your mouse on the task bar and right click
2. Pick task manager
3. you will see a tab that says processes. Look at the bottom of the page on the left side. It will say Processes : #. Anything over the above links # 10, are programs running in the background that you do not need to have running all the time.

When you install ANY program to your computer, be sure to read every page that comes up when installing. If there is an option/check mark that says something like: "start at windows start up" or "run when windows starts", uncheck it. You do not need to have anything but the operating system files load up when your computer starts. Whatever you download will still be there, it just wont be in the background running taking up memory and resources. When ever you need whatever you downloaded, just go to that program and open it.

With the exception of your virus protection, you should keep these processes as low as possible.

TO CLOSE PROCESSES YOU DON'T NEED;

1. On the processes tab as stated above, right click on the processes you don't need, then hit "end process". You should see the number at the bottom go down. Don:t worry, if it is an operating system file that you should not end, it will not let you.

Next time you start your computer, these will all come back UNLESS, you find out what each process goes to, go to that program and find where the option to start at windows start up is and uncheck it.

This should shut down your computer a lot faster and run faster too. Good luck

Why is my dell computer so slow?

Use CCleaner, Auslogic Disk Defrag, install Spyware Terminator and run full scan, remove programs from startup. You can also use "msconfig" (start/type it in, choose) to really lower the amount of processes and programs running but I wouldn't recommend unless you know what's vital plus check the box to remove all Windows processes from list before you start disabling processes.

My internet times out all the time after i stopped all processes. So maybe the better question is how to restart all my processes.

If it is restarting the processes of Trend Micro that you are talking about, click start and go to run. If you are using the 2008 version of TM, type tissuprt. on the first tab, click on start all components. That should start the processes.

Starting up taking to lond

The logon process depends on what all programs are starting up with windows, if you have installed plenty of softwares that start up with OS then it takes some time as all the start up process has to be loaded into memory.

I you have any unwanted softwares that start up during the OS start up, Uninstall them, this will speed up the startup process.

Kindly rate me as fixya
