The sound on my sharp Aquos lc-32p70e wont turn up or down properly...there is a k in a little blue box in the top left hand corner of the screen and when turning the sound up it goes from 0 to 30 to 60 instead of gradual. but the problem is i no longer have the remote but have a 3 in 1 remote. Is there anyway of sorting this?

SOURCE: Loss Sync

According to SharpUSA the problem with the "Loss of Sync" error message is that (most probably) the cables (between the box and the display) are not connected properly (so remove and reconnect them carefully, on both units) or a cable is defective.

Also, after you reconnect the cables try turning on the unit, if no success then depress the "clear" button on the external box (under the door on the front and on the bottom left and try turning on the TV again).

It is, most likely, that the cables are not seated properly. Reseat the cables on both the display and the external box.

Hopefully, this will clear the problem
if still does not solves your problem just replace all the cables connected between .u can get the new cables at radioshack web site.just place an order they will provide you. thanks.

SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC C3242U - Intermittant Sound Switching from Mono to Stereo

Not sure if I just got lucky or if the problem is solved..I hooked up my Sharp Aquos LC-32D64U the other night and I had the blue audio box pop up. Mine was only in Mono and would not switch to Stereo...Well, Local cable company is of of Hi-Def boxes but I thought what if my Digital box is bad/old or has some sort of problem. I went down to comcast cable company switched to a different digitial box..came home, hooked it up and so far no blue audio box, plus now it shows that it's in stereo..good luck

The main power regulator section circuit has the fault. If the set still bears warranty, it will be best to get it repaired by the service center.
