You can try by defragmenting all the drives.
following the instructions to do it:
1. right click on my computers and select manage
2. under storage you wil find disk defragmentation.
3. all the drives wil be displayed on the right hand side.
4. right click on each drive at a time and select defragment option.
5. do not use the system while you are defragmenting.

cheers :)

Takes too long for PC in Library/Picture mode to respond

There might be a hidden .exe file that always loads up its memory in the registry and runs everytime you are executing a function in Libraries. Go to the internet and download any antimalwarebyte andinstall it in the safe mode... If you do not know how to go into the safe mode, just switch off your computer and switch it back on, when its loading, keep on pressing F8 as soon as you press the power button on, this will give you a page that has an option of booting into safe mode. When you are in safe mode, install the antimalwarebyte that you downloaded and runa full scan. Afterwards, restart the machine in the normal interface and install Kaspersky Antivirus, update it and run a full scan. That should solve your problem.

My laptop has a virus and I cant restore it or remove anything or run antivirus spyware it tells me to run. I also cant doing anything with that system tools. Can you please help me fix my computer. My...

Try running your laptop in safe mode. In order to do this, right when you start your laptop, press F8. It would then take you to a screen that has an option that says "Safe Mode". Run the laptop in safe mode, and then go to system tools and try running the system restore tool.

Make sure the laptop is not connected to the internet so turn off the wireless adapter or don't connect any network cable to it.

My laptop cant use in noraml mode and it turns to white

resetart the laptop and choose "Debugging mode". This will show the list of files that loads during the initial boot up and OS starting. Reply with the last file listed before the BSOD.

If the BSOD occurs after the logging, list where it occurs (during the "Starting Windows XP window" or "after the desktop appears but no desktop icons".

Also, provide what OS is on the laptop.

This sounds like a Malware/Virus problem or corrupted Windows system.

Unfortunately I cannot provide assistance because it would take a very long time, and a lot of effort on your part. I've seen problems like this with my clients.

Basically, what you would need to is a USB flashdrive, put portable anti-virus products on it, run through safe mode, and if it finds and clearns any infection, or might possibly fix the problem.

Another idea is to reinstall the your Operating System from a disk, as it might be because of corruption in the system files, by reinstalling the OS you will fix any of those problems.

However.. this process takes a lot of time, and knowledge both with using safe mode, and reinstalling the Operating System if you've never done it before. Etc

For this instance, I recommend popping it in to your local computer shop if you are willing to pay for the time - if not, then you will have to find some knowleable PC local for free.

The reason I can't help is because it's over the internet, and I need to be physically there and have all the tools to fix the problem.

This needs to be handled by a physical professional.

I hope I have been of some assistance.

Can't get to login window

Blue screens are normally critical errors. If you have loaded any new hardware to your computer lately or some software packages you will need to uninstall them.

Try starting windows in safe mode by pressing F8 continuoulsy until you hear a beep. This will start the computer in safe mode and everything will look big on the screen, ignore that for now. While you are in safe mode uninstall anything that you have loaded prior to this error. Be it software or hardware.

If you have not loaded anything recently then try restoring your computer to an earlier time when you know that it was working with now problems.

Once safe mode boots go to Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and choose a date when you know that the computer was running okay. Once the restore has taken place the computer will reboot. If asked what mode you want to start in choose start windows normally.

Hopefully this will help you resolve your problem.

My computer shut down windows to prevent damage from my computer

Try tapping the F5 or F8 key (could be either one) right after you power up. This should take you to a short text message with a couple of choices to continue; you'll find the Safe Mode option there.

Windows XP fails to load and Computer will not start up.

Boot from startup floppy disks or CD-ROM, choose repair option during setup, and run Recovery Console. When you are logged on, you can run FIXMBR command to fix master boot record. This should solve your problem.
