Now you are questioning my integrity. My laptop was purchased in 07 at Best Buy in Florida with my credit card. I was in Baghdad at the time it locked on me. Who are you that I have to prove to you that I purchased my computer? You yourself could be a hacker posing as an individual who says he has problems to your computer issues. So for you to even imply that, "this is more than likely a stolen computer" is out right wrong.

Suddenlt the A135-S2386 has started asking password even we have not entered any password

Yeah some mischievous kid probably put a password on purpose. however you can use Ophcrack to get rid of that password.
Ophcrack can be downloaded here

You might need some additional tools to use Ophcrack such as
1) a CD + a Isoburner (program)
2) a USB drive + UnetBootin (program)

Built in hdd password comes on login but I never wanted one

A HDD password is something that has to be set by someone, it cannot be set by itself. If when you turn on your computer you see a little blue box in the middle it asking for a password that is asking for a BIOS password. There is a known issue with the Satellite A135 and you should contact Toshiba at 1-800-457-7777 or contact your local ASP, you can find your local ASP at This is a known issue and Toshiba should cover this even if you are out of warranty until 2010.

Toshiba satellite

something I found this on the internet:
The earlier a135 bios had this problem, even without a password defined!!!! You need the newest bios update, I believe it's 1.60, you can download it from toshiba's website. It will make a floppy, or bootable cd, or has a windows utility if you can boot. You can press F12 on powerup to select boot device, and use the appropriate device to flash the bios, and the problem should go away.
