Question about Car Audio & Video
Hi, my car cd changer seems to have broken down yesterday, as there is no power to it at all.
It has one of those removable facias and I wondered if there was a loose connection between the facia and the main unit, but I tested the unit and there is no power to it at all.
I checked the fuses in the car, one by one and they're all fine.
Do I need to look inside the main unit of the cd player? And if yes, what and where do I need to look for in there
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
NEED TO REMOVE POWER FROM UNIT THERE SHOULD BE A BLACK CABLE THAT GOES IN TO CHANGER REMOVE IT WAIT 5 SEC AND INSTALL BACK LIKE IT WAS AND THIS WILL CUT ALL POWER TO UNIT AND WILL 50% FIX THE PROBLEM

I fixed my similar problem by applying 12v to the unit according to the pinout found here:
(note that -12v goes to the connector barrel)
