Replace the lamp. The lights flashing will also indicate what is wrong. Watch how they flash. Go to the manufacturers website and they way they are flashing indicates what is wrong (ex. 3 quick flashes, long continuous flashes...etc.) When you change the lamp reset the lamp counter in the menu and clean or replace the dust filters as well.
There's no test equipment for DLP lamps. The only way to test the lamp is with a working projector. I am a Tech many times, I can tell by a visual inspection.
If you purchased a cheap lamp, or from someone beside a Sanyo dealer then, you may have a bad lamp.
To enable the inputs you may need to check the BIOS and ensure they are enabled there. You can get to the bios usually by pressing F2 when first turning on the computer. It may vary with different manufactures.
I own a Sanyo PLC-XU305 Projector, the colours are not good, I tried to fix them but nothing, the red is not red but a lot diferent, what do I have to do to fix the problem?? thanks a lot
I'd check the manual and see if you can take them off of the automatic setting which takes a little more time for the analysis of the signal. Possibly you can reset the default source to what you commonly use.
