This is caused by plumber not strapping pipes properly and probably not having air chambers install for knock...not much you can do unless you can get to pipe and strap...or spray with spray foam to set and secure pipes...

The outer Drum is making a knocking cluttering noise. When you manually turn the tub slowly round either clockwise/anti-clockwise it's like it's grabbing or unlodged itself off.
This is the typical sign of a collapsed bearing, it may be fixable but it depends on the age and brand of the machine if it's worth while fixing

My Machine does not want to spin anymore. It makes a knocking sound and then stops and starts filling up with water again, then drains it and wants to start spining and again makes a loud knocking sound and the repaets the already mentiond sycle. After taking off the front cover, look up at the top of the tub just under the lid. there should be a thick rubber strap at each corner of the machine tying in the tub to the top. These are called dampening straps. One or more may be broken. I usually replace all four if I do one.

this is a collapsed drum bearing, one of the most costly of the repairs apart from the timer and motor, not normally a job for the diy man unless has an engineering background, sorry, the cost of repair depends on the age and replacement cost of a machine, a bit like a car, would you buy an engine for a 20 year old car, if you have a machine thats expensive then the repair could be worth it? stop running it you will cause more damage both to the clothes and the machine sorry (ps i am a retired appliance engineer of 20 years service)
