Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller

The lights keep blinking but nothing is happening. It wont connect to the console. What should I do?

It's possible the xbox 360 controller isn't connected to the xbox 360. Turn the xbox 360 on by pressing the power button, and wait until it reaches the dash board. Then press the controller syncing button on the xbox 360 itself and wait until the xbox 360's ring lights start to spin around. Then press and hold the synch button on the controller (located near the charge port) and the controller should synch up with the xbox 360.

    I'm having a similar problem, but I cannot get to the dashboard: an Xbox live update pops up once the Xbox has started, and I can't seem to connect the controller in order to respond to the message: I've changed the batteries several times and tried the sync button several times, no luck.

A blinking green light usually indicated that your connected to a wifi connection or a ds to ds link.

Tony Hawk ride board is not syncing with the console to connect and play the game. It the xbox connect button flashes and then when we press and hold the sync button, nothing happens.
Try to change your batteries even if they are full.

First press the Xbox Guide Button (located on the side of the skateboard) until it lights up and starts blinking. Then press the Sync button on the Xbox console so that the front lights start blinking. Now push the sync button on the skateboard (little button that is to the left of the Back button) until it starts flashing. Both the board lights and the console lights will blink twice when they are synced.

You can try searching the gilksy method on a search engine or look it up on You tube. This is a DIY method. Some people have had success with it, but it’s far from a “professional” fix.

If you want it done professionally, I know that in the US Knight’s Gaming Repair is a reputable source, and in Canada Console Repair Guy is good.

My ps3 wont stay on it keeps going on standby
If your unit is blinking a red light when it turns off this is known as the yellow light of death (ironic i know because it blinks red). This can be caused by the unit overheating causing the solder to melt and bridge(connect). Once this happens it shorts out the board causing the error you have now. Wii Controllers not causing anything to happen.
OK so do led lights on the on the bottom of the controller just keep blinking or ever light up under "1" to signify that it is connected? What you do if they keep blinking is take off the battery cover on the remote and press the red button and the red button under the sd card cover at the same time. This syncs the wii remote with the console. You will need to do this with all new wii remotes.

try powering the system up by HOLDING the on;off button , it will reset all your audio and video settings . then plug the system using the AV cables (default) .

else, you should take it to an assastance centre for hardware issues checking . can be a problem with your RAM or GPU units that makes the system unable to startup it's firmware .

Black screen and no blinking green light when turned off

Ps3 wont work
I sure wish I could because I have the same problem. I purchased an almost new ps3 from a seller on ebay and all I get is standby then when I try to power it up, I get the blinking red light. Sony wont help because I purchased it from ebay so I am not the original owner. The seller wont help, he swears it didnt have that problem when he shipped it. Ive tried removing the hd, holding down the power button, unplugging it in the back, and nothing helps.
