I was given an old sony fd200 digital camera (that takes the old floppy discs!) to use momentarily until I get a new camera - BUT it doesn't have a manual. I used it years ago but its been awhile. There are just a couple basic questions still - #1 The photo size is set for around 1250 and I think I need it smaller to put photos onto ebay - so how do I go in and change the photo size to smaller? #2 I feel stupid but how do I turn off the flash when I want to? I messed around with the camera some and solved almost all the problems (as I had this camera YEARS ago) but forget where to turn off the flash... Thanks - Karl

DISC ERROR

This means the the floppy disk drive has dirty the reader/recorder heads, or the heads are misaligned, or the floppy has a mechanical problem during the reading process.

You can start in blowing compressed air inside the floppy disk.

If it does not work, then the floppy drive will need to be serviced or replaced.

FORMAT ERROR

You may have a bad floppy... Just like floppy drives in PCs sony floppys do go out. If you search around as I did (sorry don't remeber the link) you can find diagrams on how to replace the floppy and they are available for sale! I think we found some for $25 per. Good hunting!

Sony Mavica MVC-73

This is an early floppy drive model yes? Drive error could refer to corrupt floppy disc or a failure of the drive. Check the disc angle first - new disk formatted to camera. If it is not that - then buy another camera A repair I guess will not be an option -but checkout Sony first.

Memory Stick On FD91

No, the camera does not have drivers for the memory stick in its firmware, only the announced FD95 has this feature.
