Question about LG LS-L1210CL Mini Split Air Conditioner

I moved into my room and the manual for the operation of my LG Plasma Gold A/C - Heating Unit Model KS-H2665DM1 was not there. I feel silly, but I cannot figure out the remote; we have A/C but can't get it to switch to heat. Is there a link you can send me that explains the functional buttons on the remote?

You can check LG's website on Air Conditioners that they manufacture at: http://www.lg.com/us/air-conditioners. you may be able to find a number where you can call them for further support. But I would check that website first. Do you know the Model/Serial Number of your unit? This is usually located on a metal piece attached to your unit. Having the correct Model/Serial Number of your product will help narrow your search for manuals to your question.

hi! there,
have you ever check the batteries,try to replace a new one.or if not function after replacing
try to clean the pads behind in any button of your remote.doing this open your remote there are quick lock in the side of your remote,use flat screw driver to loosen this be carefull to break the
lock,try to cleran the rubber pads by cotton buds
to remove oily debris and on circuit board if you have an eracer in pencil try to rub this gradually
until carbonize element disappear.then put back

Make sure the setting on the remote is correct . Sun symbol for heating. Make sure the filters are clean. On heating, the indoor unit will 1/2 open the flap but the fan shouldn't start. The outdoor unit should start and if working properly, will be blowing cold air. The indoor unit will open the flap fully and the indoor fan will start once it gets hot then you should feel warm air. If the outdoor unit is blowing warmish air, I would say the reversing valve coil has failed or one of the indoor temp or pipe sensors are faulty. If a sensor fails, a "CH" error should appear on the display.

Serious eye irritation during heating operation.
It might be a lack of humidity in the room though I expect the root of the problem is either a lack of good maintenance or bad original installation or a combination of both.

The fact the model has been discontinued is meaningless and I think you should contact a good maintenance engineer to check the unit and provide a report before you make any decisions.

Why won't my lg ductless heat pump regulate the room temperature?
After I have been reading up on your unit it appears that the thermostat is not operating correctly. I found this real basic information on installation for your unit. This link I am giving is pretty basic instal schematics. But seems to be something about your thermostat needs to be dialed in or is not working properly.

We have moved into a rental and the instructions for the air con panel on the wall inside aren't available to us. The system is an LG, MPS Inverter Model No. ABUW366KSA1 P/No. 3850A21114M Serial...
LG has the documentation for the ABUW366KSA1 on their product support page: http://www.lg.com/au/support/support-product/lg-ABUW366KSA1 . The direct link to the manual is http://www.lg.com/au/support/products/documents/ABUW366KSA1.pdf . The wall panel is a wired remote control. The panel icons are described on page 7 and the subsequent pages have the instructions for using the unit.

LG Air Conditioner/Heat Unit spits cold air
I believe the "FP" probably stands for Freeze Protection and it's there to prevent your outside coil from freezing up and causing your head pressure to drop. To do this, it briefly has to reverse the cycle from heating to cooling. This is normal in a heat pump.

If you lift the flap on your indoor air con there is a Emergency operation button on your right you can operate the aircon from there. Push once for 20 cooling and twice for 22 heating

But sounds like you need a new remote. If you want to know how to test the remote please let me know

first i would try unplugging it for about 5 minutes to reset the set. after that i would need more detail as to the problem is there sparkles in the screen is it a certain portion of the set any info you can give
