I recently purchased a Just Wireless Blue BT-15K2 and aside from wondering if it is truely charged it will not work without the cord being plugged into it. It is paired with my cell and as long as the cord is plugged in the 2 devices will connect, but if there is no cord (plugged in) there is no activity at all.

Either the battery or charging circuit is defective. Has the unit been charging long enough to fully charge the batteries? Actually, if it works while its plugged in, I would suspect a faulty battery or battery circuit.

SOURCE: My jabra BT160 won't charge

i had the same problem with mine. the problem is with the completely empty battery.
solution is to disassemble it and force charge the battery inside.
you have to cut any usb cable leaving the side which connects to pc and remove the insolation from red and black wires. connect them for few seconds to battery soldering points on jabra board (red to red, black to black, sometimes you have to scratch the solder a bit if it oxidized a bit). once you see the light you can start charging it normally.

You probably got a defective unit. Look at the manufacture date. If after rev072010 you're ok. Look bottom by the scan bar code for the date.

Bt-100 bluetooth speaker volume to low can't turn up

There are several issues that may be causing the volume to be very low.

SPEAKER VOLUME:
(1) When you press the Vol+ button on the speaker does it make a beep sound? (It should, even if it can not longer go up or lower).
(2) Be sure to continue pressing the Vol+ Button to ensure that the volume does increase.
(3) While this is rarely an issue, may want to check that the speaker is charged.

DEVICE VOLUME:
*Please note that some devices have a separate volume control aside from a blue tooth devices volume adjustment.
(1) Ensure that Media Volume is on.
(2) Ensure that the volume is turned up on the device by using the devices Vol+ controls

MEDIA VOLUME:
*Please also note that the media being used (Youtube, Hulu, Music Player, etc.) may ALSO have a separate volume control aside from a blue tooth devices volume adjustment.
(1) Check that the volume within the media is turned up as well.

Hope this helps! You can also contact customer service for DIgix at 1-866-770-3688 for further assistance.

I have an ipod model a1199. i was wondering if you can use a newer ipod touch charger for it? and if not what kind of charger does it use?

Charge an iPod Nano Without a Charger
If you've misplaced or broken the charger that came with your iPod Nano, you might think you need to purchase a new one in order to continue using your Mp3 player.
However, there is a way that you can continue enjoying your iPod without having to purchase a new charger.
As long as you have a USB cord and a computer, you can charge your iPod without having the charger.

Locate the USB cord that came with your iPod Nano package.
It is the same cord that you use in order to sync or transfer music.
Plug the small end into your iPod Nano.

Plug the other, larger end into your computer's USB port.
Choose "Do Nothing" when your computer presents the dialogue box to let you choose what to do with the hardware or USB connection.
Leave your Nano plugged into your computer for at least 4 hours to charge.
Unplug your iPod Nano when charging is complete.
Charge an iPod Without the Charger
Many iPod owners purchase a charging unit that plugs into a standard wall outlet to recharge the iPod's battery.
However, the iPod wall charger is not included with new purchases, so consumers must either purchase a separate charger or find a way to charge their iPod using other means.
Here's a simple method to charge your iPod using your computer.

Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of your iPod.
Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on your Mac or PC computer.

Open the iTunes program by clicking on the icon in the Dock on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC.
Click on the name of your iPod under the "Devices" heading in the main iTunes window.
Click on the "Sync" button to synchronize your iPod with your computer data.
While the iPod is syncing, the power from the USB port on your computer will charge your iPod's battery.

Unplug your iPod from the computer once the battery is fully charged.

This one should be ok.

I can't connect my bt-15k2 to my LG phone

Hi desireeveiga,

I see that you need assistance in getting your BT heatset to your LG phone.

make sure that the BT headset is set to discoverable mode, I believe there is a connect button on the headset that you can press and hold down for a couple of seconds this should lit up a light meaning that the BT headset is ready to be discovered by a device.

Once the Headset is set to be discoverable you can try and get you LG phone to detect the headset, Once detected the pairing code should be standard try 0000 this should get the BT headset connected to you LG phone.

I hope that this can help.

Have a nice day,

My nokia 5130 charging slot does no more 'hold' the charger. I could not charge the battery. Is there any thing I can do? I recently have a previous nokia 5130 phone with the same problem...

here in the philippines, we have a "universal charger" where in you can take out the battery and put it on the universal charger and plug it to the outlet. it's best for your problem. however, if the said exchange that you have said here is part of a warranty then you still had the same problem with the same particular phone, i think you better go to the store where you purchased that phone and talk to them regarding the same old problem. and ask them if they can exchange a different unit for you because tell them that you are not satisfied with the performance of that unreliable and not so durable gadget and its accessories. make a deal with them. convince them. don't let them manipulate you to just accept something that is really not acceptable.

I have the Just Wireless bt-15 headset and will not work when unplugged from the charger but does work when plugged in I was wondering if there is any solutions

If you are charging it with it turned on then you may not be getting a proper charge.
Some devices even stop charging if turned on.
If it has been charging for the usual time before you turned it on to check it, it may be that the battery has died.
You could leave it on charge overnight and see if it works then.

for a replacement, to check prices
Amazon does not have any, so does not show a price.
If you are in the USA or Canada, a seller on eBay that I would buy from has 5 buy it now for $14.95, shipping $8.95. found searching "Just Wireless Bluetooth".
Shopping.com have the Motorola H500 for $18.00 from various sellers.
