Question about Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Go Gear is not recognized by computer

I have re-installed from the beginning and used the device manager (which says it is not connected, when it is) and have downloaded all upgrades. The device is not damaged.
It went wonlky when trying to synch with Win Media Player 11 (it worked fine with 10)...it seems to be in a constant state of synching without the computer recognizing it.

Please help!

You must roll back to WMP 10 - this device is completely incompatible with WMP11 - instructions are on both the Philips and Microsoft websites

After rolling back to 10:
disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

How do I update maps on x13-12056

Before starting any software or map update please ensure your device is fully charged.

Disable your firewall and/or antivirus software while you are having Content Manager check for updates.
Log out and log back into Content Manager, click on Check for Available Updates.
Uninstall and reinstall Content Manager

Make sure your GPS device is fully charged.
Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable. If it doesn't turn on automatically, turn it on. The GPS's screen should state that it is in USB mode. Once the installation begins, do not unplug your device.
Launch the free Content Manager software, or download here.
Right click on the Content Manager icon located in the system tray and select "Sync Purchase Features / Content".
You may be prompted to update your device software before the map upgrade begins.
Once the map upgrade begins, you will be able to view the download progress via the progress bar. (If the progress bar has been minimized go to the Content Manager icon in your task bar and left click it to display it again)
When the upgrade is complete, restart your GPS device.

NOTE: You must be logged in to your account using content manager or the Sync purchased feature option will be inaccessible to do this right click onto the content manager and select login

Problem with the Philips SA3525\97 MP3 Player Connect To Pc Use Device Manager To Repair

Via this link you can download the device manager:

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SA3125/97&scy=hu&slg=hu&mid=Link_Software

Install the software on to your PC and try to connect the device to the usb port. If the PC doesn't see the device you should download the firmware upgrade software from this link also.
With this you can repair your player.

I have had a tmobile grey blackberry curve 8320 for about 2 years and it keeps shutting off. it did it once in a while in the beginning, but these days, it literally shuts off and reboots itself every 30...

Could be hardware related or the operating system. You can update the operating system if you have a PC with WIndows XP. You need to install the Blackberry Desktop Manager and then install the latest software for your 8320 BB device.

If you want to do this, you need to download the software from www.blackberry.com, downloads, and go your your wireless carrier link and find "Desktop Software", download and install. Then, in same area of web site, download the latest version of software for your specific carrier 8320, and install.

Connect your BB device with your USB cable, which you should have -- one end connects to the PC and the other to the side of the BB device. Start the Blackberry Desktop Manager. It should then guide you to perform the upgrade. The default settings will perform a backup of all of your existing data (e.g. contacts, email, etc).

CHeck out this YouTube video on how to do this -- and there will be others you can check out.

Good Luck...

Gogear sa5125/37 lost softwear got from site still dont work

Download the user's manual also from the website - it will let you know what to do next. I have written an article that you can see in the "Tips & Tricks" section on how to download songs to your Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11.  Make sure you get the firmware update before using Windows Media Player 11, however: Philips issued a firmware upgrade for this model to correct the freezing issue.  You can't use the version of the Philips Device Manager that came on the installation CD.  You have to go to www.philips.com/support, enter your country, enter your model #, click on SA 6045/37 without the B, and click on the Software & Drivers link.  Within the software & drivers link, you must download the link underneath "Device/Firmware Manager" - this will give you the latest version of the Device Manager.  Using the new Device Manager, connect your mp3 player to the computer and click on the "Update" button within the Philips Device Manager.  This will upgrade your player's firmware, and fix the freezing issue.

My thinkpad doesnt works!

If you can, upgrade to WinXP (or LINUX) which will make things easier, or else use the re-install disk for your laptop. If you really want Win2000 to work and have lost your original disks, you need to download the appropriate drivers for that machine and install them under Win2000. It is the only way to get things up and running again. Make sure in device manager there are no yellow marks showing error state devices.

Don't use a driver management or automated program to install the drivers; download them one by one from the IBM web site and install and reboot cycle each one separately.

Good luck...
