Whirlpool AWM8143 Front Load Washer Logo

My washing machine (6th Sense) has the door light flashing every now and again all throughout the program ... the timer counts down to 1 minute but it doesn't start spinning. When it's down to one minute it stays like that until you stop it (it just keeps washing, door light on/off then it repeats the same thing all over). It spins fine if you turn the knob to the spinning program. Not sure what's wrong or if to buy a new machine?

Door switches are a problem if they don't make the machine doesn't work I'm surprised you can get anything to work, but check that switch

The machine doesn't have a door switch, just a handle to press as you open it...and it doesn't seem to be a problem (tried pressing against the door, the light still goes on and off)

Hi
check if the door is closed because it is very sensitive closing mechanism for reasons of security so sometimes you see that the door is closed but in reality it is not closed well

Whirlpool wf810w 6th sense frontload washing machine when a program reaches the spin cycle the "door open' light starts flashing and the machine stops

Hi,
Problems like these are sometimes caused by blockages in pipes due to fabric softener sludge build up. Have somebody open the machine and check the pipes leading to the pressure switch and the pressure switch itself for blockages.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Best wishes,
Graemevm.
