Question about Audio Players & Recorders

It's actually kinda trivial but I've been given an old mp3player from a friend who upgraded. The thing is our taste in music is drastically different, so what I want to do is delete all of the music currently on it and start fresh all together. I've gone to the menus consisting of general, timer, modes, ect. but I didn't find anything for deleting. Please help me out with the simplest step by step instructions on how to accomplish this,thank you. Nicki

To delete the music files off the MP3 player, connect the supplied USB cable to the P3 player and then plug it into the USB port in your computer. The computer will detect the MP3 player as an external storage device. You can open the music folder and select and delete the music files just like deleting unwanted files off your hard disk.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

How to Make Great Drinking Chocolate

Hot chocolate is one of thoses childhood drinks that are amazing. It doesn't matter how old or young you are - everybody loves a good hot chocolate.
I've followed hundreds of different recipes but my all time favorite is this one. It's actually a Parisian hot chocolate recipe so not only does it taste great but it sounds very fancy.
Ingredients:
2 cups full fat milk
5 oz (130g) of good quality bittersweet chocolate ie high percentage of cocoa - chopped small
2 tablespoons of brown sugar (to taste).
Method:
1. Heat the milk in a medium pan
2. When the milk is warm whisk in the chocolate and stir until melted and very hot.
3. Cook on a low boil light for about 3 minutes but whisk constantly. Make sure it doesn't boil over.
4.Taste it and add sugar if desired.
Serve in small coffee cups for a really sophisticated look.

Hi, you will need toupgrade the mp3player before you can be able to use it.why?, because the previous version has expired and can not be use again. So the only way you can use the mp3 player is to upgrade the firmware..

I can't find the blade lock used to remove my old blade. My model # is sears 315.108230

There should be a small black button on the right side of hand grip. You can also use a small block of wood between the blade teeth and the shoe to hold the blade in place while you loosen the blade nut.

I need more volume than my Dell A215 speakers can provide. I have my computer and speaker volumes adjusted to max and would like a recommendation on what rms power to upgrade to.

buy a 5.1 audio system, they are really good and loud and you also have a good quality for the sound

whichever program u are using to download music u need to go to your desktop make a new folder take the songs u have downloaded put them in the new folder then plug the player in to your computer than transfer the music to your player

I think I fugured it out. I think this should set the thing up for you. Turn the unit on. Push the button in and hold for the count of three. Wait as you count to two then push the buton in quickly. The screen should display a different "MUSIC" sign. Now the tiny file type in the upper left of the screen should say "mp3". Now make sure you are loading mp3 files. Be sure the unit is ON when you connect it to the USB port. Drag and drop files onto the mp3 player. I got it to accept 5 songs so far. I am working with Windows xp. Hope it helped!

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.
