I have nokia 3110 c too. The music player in nokia 3110c read some kind of codec or what ever in the music file, when u update the library or u turn the phone on. If something happen with the music file, (it usually because by the music player from computer) the phone will cannot read it, so it will restart. And read it, and restart again and again. What to do is, open your memory card by card reader and delete the music file that u have put in it. Then its done, don't forget to reinstall the music player at your computer.
I have had problems from running my phone during low battery these smart phones store a copy of their firmware in no volatile ram that can be corrupted during low power or loss of power. this is why you should always turn your smart phone off before removing the battery.
Try a Hard reset
This will wipe the phone of contacts and photos and calender entrees.
also a hard reset can be performed by. turning the phone off, holding *, 3 and the Green call button and powering the phone up.
keep holding the buttons until the phone makes it start up tone. At this time you will be prompted to re setup your phone.
Also the phone will not start if the battery I not able to provide enough charge. if you have run it that flat before then it will likely to fail prematurely
I have a nokia 6300 in this earphone not working this connector is no problum
Remove the battery and and place it again and try switching on the phone.
