DIsconnect your PC from the TV and Shut it Down. Then turn off the TV and reconnect them back and switch on. If this fails to be of Help, contact Service Station.

Slow pc and virus encountered

If you have a good antivirus.., bought with license...try to scan and remove the viruses...but usually after the virus got into the system ..there isn't much you can do ...cause the harm is already done ..and the system is affected ..so ..the right thing and faster to ..is to reinstall the operation system and format the C drive during the operation ..
In short ..you need a disk with the operation system ...you have to get into BIOS to set the boot sequence to boot from optical device first ..and restart and go for the installation ...If you never done this kinda operation ..there are available on the internet tutorials with very clear explaining about how t do it ...Just read one or to ..and the operation itself is not that complicated...Be sure you have all drivers for all devices already saved on a flash stick or on another partition in the computer (or a disk ) ..cause after installing it clean you need to reinstall all the drivers....
Even if it souns like a lot of work ...the reinstalling is usually much faster and 100% efficiency...so ...this is the way I would do it in this case..
Good luck !

Do you see the backlight ever coming to the screen?

You will want to open the cover, disconnect the backlight inverter and try again to see if it will stay on even without an image.

If it does it's the inverter.

if it still shuts it's most likely (not guaranteed) either the power board itself or the main board.

A good tech should be able to test the power board independantly fairly quickly.

Sounds as though the service is not yours. In which case you may be unable to.
Since this is probably the case. It could be that your system settings are not set just right for the router(s) providing the signals... maybe you've preset an IP address, or some other setting is incompatible or the connection site already is at it's full capacity

You could also be too far away and need a booster...

Try entering without a passphrase

If it turns out to be a card failure, you could find them cheap on craisglist under either heading, electronics or computer section

TV should auto sense S-video connection if signal is present. try removing any other wires on that video input to insure that Tv is seeing signal from that source

My xperia x8 is saying unable to scan for networks even if iam right next to my router

I had the same problem. I installed the software from the sony erikcon website to my computer, and then followed the process for updating the phone software. That did not work, since I had the latest software already. So then, I tried to REPAIR my phone software, and after that was done, my phone was functional again, and the wifi works without any problems. c:\users\mashhood\appdata\local\temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image001.gif

Requirements:

* A PC connected to the Internet (preferably broadband)

* USB phone-to-PC connection. Please see the accessories compatibility list for your phone.

1. Here is the website to download the Update Service software fromhttp://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/detailed/updateservice?cc=au&lc=en

and install it on your PC.

2. Run the software on the computer after it is installed.

3. Follow the procedure for UPDATE or REPAIR (if you already have the latest version).

SHARP aquos 1080p HDTV: VCR image flickers when playback

Well I do not know either machine but suspect if the video is old either your video's output is too rough for the TV because:-

It has some age related problem of wear.
The output signal is not quite correct in quality.
There may be a security signal applied on its recording material.
These are some of the issues, videos are very sloppy (by todays standard) but could get away with it with analogue TV's because of wider design variables inherent in that system.
Modern TV,s are less hardware more software driven and as such are critical about errors going to a blank screen as a way of escape an issue they can't resolve (mummy mummy!).
The video may need checking for mechanical or electronic issues, a favourite being power supplies which can generate noise from defective components that disturbe other equipment, or mechanical alignment which changes through wear and time.
You could try conversion to hdmi signal though cheap converters are limited in their method of doing this but might show you if it would work.
Cheap versions are about £10 but have no level controls (contrast, brightness or colour to trim for best picture)

Hope this helps............
