No sound This is my second replaced Lg ENv9900 in a week the sound keeps going out on phone calls no one can hear me and I cant hear them....any ideas?

Switch off your phone and remove battery for 5 seconds and then put it back in. If it doesn't work, your phone's speaker is dead and you need to carry your phone to local LG customer service.

Hello pop17420 . You can do a reset that is l;ocated in the security section of your choclate. Here you have to be careful there are two resets on the lg. You don't wan to do the one that saids REstore to PHONE . Go to tools and settings.follow the directions on the phone.you need to put in the last four of your phone number as the security code

You probably need to replace the phone....my original LG Dare had the same problem. It may also be the people you are speaking with on the other line. If you hear the static, hang up and call them back. See if the static is gone. If not, then bring the phone back to Verizon and ask them to replace it. If what you're talking about sounds like "tick tick tick" like a clock, I think that's inherent to this phone. I am on my second LG Dare and it always makes that sound when I talk to anyone, no matter what....but it isn't a static sound. Good luck and let us know if it helps!

the speaker earpiece have been gone

easiest way to solve this problem. go to call settings and TTY mode. and switch it to TTY + talk ... if that doesnt work then fiddle around with the other TTY settings untill it does. this disables the earpiece

TRY THIS: Have had my LG chocolate for 10 days, then sounds just stopped. Another website said to take out the battery for a couple of minutes and put it back in, I just did that, and now my sounds are back!! I hope this isn't a chronic problem...

You should be able to turn the earpiece sound up, but on some phone this can only be done during a call.

I have exactly the same problem with one of my LG Shine's. Mine is stuck on headset and I cannot activate any other profile. The stupid thing is, every now and then it does actually work properly....maybe once a week....

Sent it back to LG for repair as it was only a couple of weeks old and they are saying its 'water damage'...even though its never been wet, the bastards! I have 3 phones with them on a business plan, just got 2 Shines and a Palm Treo 750 for myself so I'm under contract for nearly 2 years, my second contract with them and they pull this shit.

I won't be with them when I can afford to pay out all 3 of the phones :(

sounds like a failure, sent it back to the manufacturor for repair, Lg chocolates go wrong a lot
