There is no magic date. Just make sure to chill it for a hour before drinking. I know it sounds weird but that is how it is done. For white wine and it's been in the refrig. you need to let it sit a hour before drinking. Most folks drink white wine too cold and red wine too warm.

have it for about 5 months, and it worked fine all this time with a
setting of 50 degrees. Now it refuses to lower its temp. It reverts
