Printer installation i have no disk and can't find the printer on the list?

You cannot install manually, the printers listed are older models. You need to download drivers from website.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

most computers with Windows already have the majority of printers listed, unless the printer is rare when in the install page for printers it asks with disk or computer memory or soemthing like that. choose the computer memory option, then scroll through the list and find your printer, if you cannot find it in the list, you might also try to find it online, and just download it, try going to the manufacure of the printer, they may have a driver you can download and intall.

Try this, Disconnect the USB printer connection.
Remove the printer from the printer list. The list should be empty.
Re-boot your computer.
Check and make sure their are no other printers in list.
Find your install disks for the printer.
If you do not have a install disk, go to HP and download the printer installation files.
Install the software and do not plugin the printer until it is asked for.
After you install the new drivers and software the printer should be seen by the computer.

Choose your Operating System from the list of drivers.

Download unzip if zipped or run if .exe plug printer in point installer for printer to folder where the drivers are if it asks for them.
