That is a temperature warning that is an automatic feature on bread machines. What the machine is telling you is that the oven chamber is still too hot from baking the last loaf. It does that to prevent you from starting another loaf and having that loaf fail due to the high heat killing the yeast. If you want to bake more than one loaf unplug the machine after baking the first one, raise the lid, and leave it open for no less than 20 minutes. It should work fine by then. If not let it cool off another 10 minutes. It will be cool enough by ½ an hour to start another one.

I forgot to enter the size of the loaf and I don't want it to bake for a 2lb loaf. I only added ingredients for a 1 lb loaf.

I would just check it around 40 minutes into the bake cycle. If it doesn't seem done let it bake another 5 minutes or so the shut the machine off.

My maker wont start automaticly after h ingredents in

If you just finished baking a loaf your machine won't let you bake another one until it has cooled off. Otherwise the next loaf wouldn't come out right. Always open the lid on you machine and let it cool off for about 1/2 hour before starting a 2nd loaf.

Bread machine code H:E

That is a feature on your bread machine that prevents you from starting a loaf of bread when the oven is too hot fro the last loaf. You need to open the lid, leave it open for 30 minutes then bake your next loaf.

I have the Panasonic Breadmaker SD255 (5 stars) and just yesterday evening I made the `Banana and Walnut loaf' - 'Bake only' (45mininues). After the 45 minutes I pressed Start/Stop and checked my loaf and...

Hi, you are choosing the wrong program when you push start/stop. You need to either just add another 10 minute to the timer or choose the bake program again and add time to the timer. Hope that makes sense. once you push stop and then push start it defaults to the basic program and it is going to tell you the chamber is too hot. If your dough was risen and ready to bake you need to stay on the Bake program and add time in 10 minute increments until passes the "toothpick" test.

I just ran this through the super rapid cycle as desicribed in the manual when first using the machine. Now I want to make a basic white loaf and the display reads "E01". What does this mean?

That just means that your machine was too hot to make a loaf of bread so soon after completing the rapid program. Bread machines need to cool off about 30 minutes before starting the 2nd loaf. They are designed that way to prevent poor baking results due to overheating of the yeast too early in the process. Please vote/rate/rank/testimonial this answer.......
Thanks!

"- - H" appears in display. What does it mean?

that is a temperature alert to advise the user that the oven chamber is too hot to begin breadbaking. This usually happens when a loaf of bread has been baked and a 2nd one is attempted before the breadmachine has cooled off.

I have a sd251 breadmaker why do i have to wait until it can cook a second loaf is there a short cut/

No you need to let your machine cool off about 20-30 minutes before baking another loaf otherwise your yeast in the 2nd loaf could be negatively effected by the residual heat.

I baked a white bread and want to bake another one. The 1 st one is perfect but when I put in the pan to start the next ons the timer said 0;00 and will not start. PLEASE I AM EXPECTING GUESTS. Erna

Hi there, You have to let your machine cool off before starting you 2nd loaf. Your machine knows that it is too hot. Most all bread machines do that. After you bake your first loaf. Take the pan out empty the bread loaf onto a rack and place the empty pan on a plate. Leave the lid up on your machine and let it cool off. It should be fine in about 30 minutes and ready to bake again. If this works for you please leave a vote or testimonial thanks! I love helping people!
