I have a Jura impressa C5, and drip tray will not go back in with the grounds basket installed. Seems as thought the mechanism is jammed out of place. I have cleaned out the tray and vacuum cleaned the inside of the machine to no avail Can anyone help?

I fixed this issue myself hours before and sent an email to inform you! The problem was nothing to do with cracks or the above, this is my third Jura machine and have had a great track record with all of them. It seems as though some coffee grounds had got wedged in the mechanism and jammed it. Managed to use a soft brush to clean it out and repeated the vacuum process. So was glad to get my cup of coffee after. Thanks anyway

I have a Jura Impressa 27. The tray, for some odd reason, was not going back in. I simply tried it without the top part - that receives the grounds - and was finally able to get it in. I pulled it back out and found some grounds that had been dumped. It seems something was stuck that wouldn't allow it back in with the top part. Then after I was able to put both pieces back in without a problem.

The drip tray should fit easily. Its just a placement on the base part.It fits easily. If its not fitting properly, then may be its mechanism is got cracked or you are not inserting the tray properly. Remove the tray out and match its corners to the coffee machine, then place it carefully.----------
Also check the under side the lower base side of tray, if there is something got loose or cracked, then that can be the other possibility of drip tray not getting fitted properly.-------- Check out.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

Cannot find my instructions for cleaning my JURA Impressa 65

Do you mean the Jura Impressa C65? If you are prompted to clean the machine, first touch and hold the Maintenance button for ~2 seconds. You will be prompted to empty the tray. Empty both the drip tray and the grounds container. Replace these. Press Rinse and place a container under the spout. Touch the Maintenance button again. Wait while the water flows into the container. When the water stops flowing, the LCD screen will change from "Cleaning" to "Add tablet". Open the cover of the filler funnel for coffee grounds and place the Jura cleaning tablet in the filler funnel. Close the cover. Touch the Maintenance button again. Wait for the Cleaning cycle message to be replaced by the "Empty Tray" message. Empty the drip tray and coffee ground container again and replace them. The coffee maker will be ready to use when you see Espresso Heating. The procedure for descaling is in the manual.

The instructions are available on the product site, https://www.shopjura.com/impressa-c65.html , under the Manuals tab. The current link is https://us.jura.com/-/media/global/pdf/manuals-global/home/IMPRESSA-C60-C65/download_manual_jura_C60-C65_ul.pdf?la=en&hash=A918AF729D1132A17AF6A80C45F95D8CCC692ACE&em_force=true . The section on cleaning the super automatic coffee maker are in chapter 5, which starts on page 30. The section on Cleaning starts on page 37. The section on Descaling starts on page 39.

I hope this helps.

I have a Jura Impressa C5. My drip tray mechanism is broken because I pulled out the tray while it was still operating, and a piece of plastic of about 7.5cm x 17 cm (3 in x 7 in approx) came off and...

This is the used grounds blade that makes room in the used grounds container. This is fixed to the brewing unit, and can not be reassembled without opening the machine. If you make sure to check your grounds container often, you really don`t need to put this blade back. Just make sure that the container doesn`t overfill.

Cannot install tray with ground basket installed, after removing. Mechanism is blocking the ground basket when the tray is slid back into the unit after emptying.

Try putting a container under the coffee spouts and pressing the rinse button. This will usually free any coffee grounds that may not have been expelled into the grounds basket from the last time the machine was used. The grounds can get stuck and block the slide path of the grounds basket.

Jura Impressa F50 - tray - fault 8

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.
