Need audio driver for my 2005 dell with a windows 7 system

Since their is no official support for Windows 7 under this model, your onboard sound may not work. But there is a Windows Vista driver available, and that may do the trick. Assuming your Win is 32 bit, get the 32 bit audio driver from the link above and try it.
If that doesn't do it, make sure the device is detected: go to control panel, system, and click device manager. Click the + symbol next to audio devices and look for a sigmatel device (or a ? mark) to show that drivers are not installed. If you don't see the device at all, it might be disabled. When you boot the computer, hit F2 and enter the BIOS. Look for onboard sound, which should be in the integrated peripherals section, make sure it says "enabled" or "use this device".
A third option if these don't help would be a newer sound card or even an external sound card. These are reasonably priced depending on the features that you want. The external (USB) ones tend to cost a little more, but they are also very easy to install. The wires for sound run straight to the unit, which then connects to your PC via USB. (Be gentle with the cords, since I have heard of units breaking from neglect)
If given the choice I would go the internal route, which means it would need to be installed. The internal ones seem to be a bit more durable, there are more available models and better prices, plus they will be better protected inside the box than out.

I have tried many sound driver but i dont get success.please give me a link for download sound driver for my dell vostro n series for xp

To get the correct driver, you should input your service tag off your Dell machine. Your Service Tag is a unique five- to seven- digit alphanumeric (letter and number) code, which is found on a white bar-coded label affixed to your Dell computer or peripheral. Enter it here and Dell will present the correct drivers for your specific machine.

I have Dell destop model XPS-420 my computer is not getting on NO FAN and no noise please advise me what should I have to do

are you saying the fan is not working ? if that's the case, you need to replace the fan.
get the service tag # located on back of your desktop PC, go to this link below, place service tag in appropriate box . it will give you part numbers for the peripherals of this computer. locate the fan and purchase replacement.this is all you have to do. DO NOT TURN ON THE COMPUTER UNTIL THIS FAN IS REPLACED, or you will damage the mainboard and/or CPU.

You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this link to download the drivers: -

Drivers for dell xps M1210. SERVICE TAG: 2F6TQB1

Were you able to download the driver from the link I sent you?

This would affect my ability to send you any more, since Dell is a closed site. I have an account and can get to drivers I just didn't know for certain if you'd be able to download the driver with out a password.

PS Please use the comment box below to reply, you have created several problem posts that are still open.
