How do I turn off the alarm of my phone.........I might have accidentally press something.........

The gigaset A510 is so easy to accidentally have alarm on when scrolling thru menu.. Difficult too to turn off if it has moved to snooze mode! Happens at midnight when a time is not set i.e 00.00 !!!
So I have turned the "ringer" off so I can sleep. Been over the manual many times.
This phone set of 3 is also so awkward to use for call waiting, in Australia at any rate. What you do is explained for 2 carriers only, so it varies. A pain, never got it to work, it is VOIP.

Alarm 1. Press Menu Organizer Alarm On. 2. Enter the alarm time using the keypad. • For a single occurrence, select Single. • For a repeated alarm, select Repeated. Scroll through the list of days and press On to enable or Off to disable the alarm for each day. 3. Press Save to confirm. Snooze or turn off • When the alarm goes off a signal will sound. Press Stop to turn off the alarm or press Snooze to repeat the alarm after 9 minutes. Note! The alarm will work even when the phone is switched off. Do not press Yes to power on if wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. Tip: To edit an alarm, press Edit or Off to stop the alarm.

Pull out the crown to the alarm setting position. The crown is located on the right side of the face of the watch. Pull the crown out until "AL", the alarm indicator, is shown on the watch. Depending upon the model of your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch, you will either pull the crown out in the first or second position.

Select the hours and minuets for the alarm. Once your watch is in the alarm setting position, press the bottom right button on your watch. This will enable you to select the hours and minuets that you want to set the alarm for.

Set your alarm. To begin setting your alarm turn the crown clockwise until the desired hour or minutes are displayed on your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch. If you happen to accidentally pass the alarm time, turn the crown counter-clockwise the get back to the desired alarm time.

Save your alarm. When you are ready to save your alarm, simply push in the crown. Once your alarm sounds, to silence it press any button on your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch.

You mean you press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds, and, then, select the 'Power off' option? If so, nothing will work on your phone. It's perfectly normal. It's something like removing any electrical stuff from the mains power. In that same menu, choose 'Flight mode' instead. All radio communications will be turned off, but everything else will still be kept alive.

locking your phone will help stop accidental dialling. if you don't lock your phone all you have to do is touch the screen and your ready to press buttons if you lock it then you have to unlock before you can press them, so in turn to acccidently call somebody it would have to unlock itself in your pocket.

To make the alarm appear press the button at 8 O'cloc.

To turn off/on the alarm press the button at 2 O'clock.

Follow these steps in order:

--- Enter the following exactly: *#1546792*#

--- The following menu (or something close) will appear:
1. Version
2. Preconfiguration
3. NETWORK & CALL SETTINGS
4. Internal

Simply press the number '3' on your keyboard or scroll down and select NETWORK & CALL SETTINGS.

--- The following menu (or something close) will appear:
1. Auto Answer
2. Power on Attach
3. Service Domain
4. Network Order
5. NETWORK MODE

Simply press the number '5' on your keyboard or scroll down and select NETWORK MODE.


--- The following options will appear:
Auto
GSM
WCDMA

Select AUTO

--- Press the red key to exit the menu.

You should see the phone acquire service and update the date and time.

To turn the alarm off press and hold st/stop and then press lap/reset. To set, press the lower left hand corner button, you will see the option to set the alarm first and then the option to set the actual watch time.

Just press ALM1 button for a second and it will be turned OFF. Do the same for ALM2.
