It may have blown fuse in the inverter circuits, so check the fuse and the transistors, solder joints, etc.

It will not be really worth it to have it repaired by a shop.

How do I program the Noma N1502 to come on at 4pm and go off at 11pm?

Difficult to say when you are Anonymous, I can't check your posting history, but I think you are seeing 'Suggested Answers' that Fixya thinks might be useful to you. This happens all the time.

Anyway, your Noma Timer is made by Woods. It does on have one button purely because it is a photoelectric timer. It comes on when it get dark, so it needs no On or Start button. Your single button sets the number of hours the power stays on.

So, if it gets dark at 5:00 pm, and you want the lights to go off at 11:00 pm, you press the button 6 times until you see '6' in the display. That's it. it will turn on at 5:00 and turn off 6 hours later at 11:00 pm.

You CAN'T set it to come on at 4:00. It will only come on when it gets to a certain light intensity at dusk. For that, you need the two button version, which has Mode and Hours. .

Here is the manual. If you look carefully, the instructions are usually embossed into the back of the timer. Make sure the photocell is facing outwards and is not covered by greenery.

I am trying to make a buttonhole for a 3/4" button, using a Pfaff Ambition 1.5. Using the buttonhole attachment the buttonhole comes out to be 3/4 " what am I doing wrong?

Hello, Suzanne -

The buttonhole opening needs to be 3/4". That means the actual button hole stitching needs to be 7/8" - 1/8" larger than the button..

Read the information here:

Best wishes.

Black box covering part of screen

That is coming from the closed captioning. It has been turned on and it is in text mode. The captioning is most likely coming from the television but it can also be coming from your cable box/satellite receiver. Find your television remote's cc button and press it until it says off on your screen. If your remote does not have one closed captioning should be in the menu. If the text box is coming from a cable box there are a couple of ways to disable it not limited to a button on the remote and a hidden menu you can access when turning it off from the on off button directly on it and pressing the menu button located directly on it.

Keep in mind also that closed captioning can also come from your cable box or satellite receiver.

I want to move the wall switch on my garage door opener. How does the cover come off?

If it the deluxe wall button, it has a big white button and a small lock and light buttons. Take a screwdriver and pry out on the top of the big white button. You will see a screw that is holding it. Take this one out. There is another srew that the button is attached to. Just slide up on the button and it should come off the wall.

1 MPH light comes on

you probably have set the SPEED CHECK button by mistake. The light and the accompanying beep only come up when you reach the set speed to remind you that you are now driving over the limit that you have set (in your case by mistake). To reset/cancel this, drive below 5MPH and then press and hold the button, or, as soon as the light comes up when driving, press and hold the button, it will go off. ...been there ...done that, the little button on the botton side of the WIPER lever

Button not working correctly

the button is fine
the button starts a relay that controls the very high currents for the heaters and motor
the relay is dead, or has come loose from its connections
if the cables have come off reattach them
otherwise, replace,
not expensive to replace ~$29

trace the cables from the button to the relay 5be4575.jpgnot all relays are transparent.
