My Galileo telescope shows the front cross bars and mirror base in the eye piece regardless of the eye piece I use. What is causing this issue?

You are NOT turning the focus knob far enough to achieve focus. Practice during the day time on a distant object.

We bought an edu-science telescope at a garage sale and the eye-piece was broken. How can we get a bew part?

Eyepieces come in 3 sizes .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes. Measure the hole in the focuser and buy the correct size. The .965 size is hard to find.

Here are two retailers:

Inner scope??? you mean the eyepiece (s) are broken. Measure the hole eyepieces come in 3 sizes, .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes.

The .965 eyepieces are very difficult to find as most amateur telescopes use the 1.25 inch size.

Try Telescope Warehouse or Agena Astroproducts for a replacement eyepiece:

Don't ever buy another off brand telescope at a garage sale that you know nothing about.

You may be able to call Galileo telescopes and order the parts.

http://www.galileosplace.com/

If not and if the eyepiece is a 1.25 inch (measure the hole in the focuser), then you can buy eyepieces and weights from several different retailers on-line:

The screw you can find at a well stocked hardware store.

Missing parts to the Galileo FS-102NT Telescope

You can contact Galileo scopes directly here;
http://www.galileosplace.com/

Some of what you need may be available at a well stocked hardware store.

Eyepieces, and barlows can be bought from many on-line retailers. Here is one:
http://agenaastro.com/

The CD rom is probably just a planetarium software. You can download free software here:
www.stellarium.org

The scope does not need computer software to operate. However, you will find the free software above very helpful in learning the sky. Color filters are really NOT very useful; only the moon filter is needed which you can buy from the retailer listed above.

Actual proprietary parts like the accessory tray must be bought directly from Galileo telescopes. But a hardware store will have springs and bolts and nuts.

You will not find a manual for that telescope. Look on the Bushnell manual web site and locate one similar to your telescope. They all assemble in a similar fashion.

I just purchased a TASCO Starguide 60 telescope at a garage sale and it is missing the owners manual. Can you please tell me how I can obtain another owners manual?

They do not come with manuals. However Meade maintains a web site for their telescopes. Look under REFRACTOR for one similar to your telescope. They all go together almost the same way,

Missing the eye piece for the Meade saturn 60az-m

ebay is a great resource for eyepieces, i would suggest a 26mm ma.
the eyepiece should drop in. if not you might be missing the image erecting diagonal. when the eyepiece is installed you should be looking perpendicular at the tube.
