I would like to setup wireless printing with my hp h470 on my |NETBOOK. because it is a netbook, i can't use the cd that came with the printer to setup wireless. how do i setup wireless printing using my netbook without the cd? thank you!

What OS are you using? Win 7? Is the Printer and the netbook on the same network? Setup the Printer on the Access Point/wireless device that the Netbook is connected to, make discoverable, turn on wireless, on the Netbook, Start menu, Open Devices and Printers, click on Add a Printer, All a Network, Wireless printer, follow the setup. You can print from iphone by connecting it through the wireless connectivity but for that you would require the Hp iprint software.

No, you do not have to buy a wireless printer. Connect the printer via the USB port, printer should have come with a USB cable.

Either download the complete software from HP's website http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=&product=441125 directly on your netbook or else what you can do is on some other computer with Optical drive copy files from disk provided with Printer to usb drive and run setup on your netbook through USB flash drive.

Hello my friend.First you must install the software if you haven't.Insert the Starter CD that was with your printer into the CD drive,the menu runs automatically,if its not double-click the Setup icon on the
Starter CD.On the menu, click the button for the connection method you want to use(wireless).Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the software installation.
After that we are going to create a wireless profile.
Open the configuration utility for your computer’s wireless network card, then do
the following:
Create a new wireless profile with the following values:
• Communication mode: ad hoc
• Network name (SSID): hpsetup
• Security (encryption): disabled
Activate the profile.
Wait two minutes for the device to obtain an IP address, then print a wireless
configuration page.
On the configuration page, verify the following for the device’s network settings:
• Communication mode: ad hoc
• Network name (SSID): hpsetup
• The IP address is not 0.0.0.0

when you go to print click on find printer and search it name . {the printer has to be on while doing this}

go back to hp's driver download page for your printer and download the "full featured" suite driver and software. The toolbox is included..
