Sansa c200 series – Computer/OS Not Recognizing
Connect the device to the PC in MSC Mode
View/c200: Turn on then press and hold the rewind button while plugging to the PC
If that fails, unplug the Sansa from the computer. Uninstall all the Sansa software in the add/remove programs section of Control Panel. Reinstall the clean version of the software from Sandisk’s website – make sure you get the files for the c200 series. Then replug the Sansa and try again. The root of the problem is that Sansa has one set of drivers and Windows has another. If you plug the mp3 player into the computer before installing the Sansa drivers, the Windows drivers will trump the Sansa’s.
Here is a helpful link from Sandisk on the problem with extra information on Vista operating systems:

Not enough space for music DB Please free up 80MB

This is the error you get when you are trying to put more songs on the player than the player can take. In other words, the memory of the player is full and cannot accommodate all the songs you are trying to put onto it.
In this situation, the only thing you can do is to free up space. You can free up space by formatting your device but this would mean losing all your information or data that where previously loaded onto the device.
Also, you can open up the player as an external device on your computer and select the files which you no longer need. After selecting them, you can delete them and copy your new songs onto the device and it should work fine if there is enough space for them.

Memory on my mp3 is almost full without any songs on it.

Try this: Connect your MP3 player to your computer. Open "My Computer". You should see your MP3 player connected. Right click on it. Click on FORMAT. This should completely wipe everything on your MP3 player (except for the original necessary files that came on it origianlly). You should then be able to get all of your space back.

It means your memory is full. Or you could be downloading to many songs for the device to upload. Try one song at a time.

Don't have the Mp3 player plugged in while you are deleting them. and if you don't have it plugged in then just make sure you have enough space to keep adding songs.

PLEASE HELP I CAN"T LIVE WITH OUT MY SANSA

"Please free 6MB for music DB" means that there is not enough MEMORY for the MUSIC DataBase. Therefore, you cannot see the music on your device.

To resolve this, you need to delete music until your device is less than 6MB of being full.

Generally 10 to 15 songs should do the trick.

Best of Luck,
