Question about Samsung LA40A450 40 in. LCD TV

My Samsung LA40A650A1FXXY won't turn on. The stand by light is blinking. The unit is going on 4yr old..please help

Try to disconnect all other devices, like dvd's, blu ray, media players, consoles, usb, etc. then try again. if still have problems you may need to have it repaired by Samsung.

My Samsung LN40A650A tv won't turn on. I push the power button on both the tv and the remote and nothing happens . . . no blinking lights or anything. It's 2.5 years old. Can anyone help???

if you have no lights at all i would check the power supply.

Without doing alot of research I see that you have a dlp TV. If the light for the lamp is blinking and your unit is 6 years old or older you should replace the lamp. It is definitely bad. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4168009-change_lamp_in_dlp_projection_tv which will walk you through it. Let me know if you need more help.

I have a Sony ' Wega " about 6 years old 36 HD.. I turned it on and the stand by light blinks NO PICTURE.. OR SOUND AT FIRST IT MADE SOUND AND I THOUGHT PICTURE WAS GOING TO GO ON IT SHUT OFF...CAN YOU...

Please intimate exact model of Sony TV and how many times LED blinks as there would be 3 second pause between blinks so count blinks and let me know. This LED blink is an error code that will tell me problem section in TV.

Samsung no picture

There are several capacitors that are known, in Samsung TV's that go out.. ( I replaced mine until the board was burnt through.. bought a new board, they went out again.. BOUGHT A LG TV!!)

Dell E172FP, monitor blinks then goes blank or black

This is a known problem of the Invertor board.If you are technically able you can open the monitor and resolder transistors 2sc5707 as also all pins of 4 yellow invertor transistors that you can see near the backlight connectors.

Stand by light blinks 6 times, wont power on

Here you find sony blinking codes

SIX Blinks---No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking selfdiagnosis
function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.

SEVEN Blinks---High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k
and the unit goes immediately into safety shutdown. Check power supply
regulation and horizontal circuits.
