Are you referring to the right control handle not staying locked if you release it when you have the left one squeezed down? It is a very common problem in the newer toro blowers. It is a poor design. The little spring steel tab won't lock into the cam on the right-side handle. Being under warranty, call your dealer and have them correct it. You need to remove the twist coil spring that latches under the handle. The spring is far too strong which makes the handle tiring to hold down and the interlock to fail. However, please have the dealer do the job so you do not void your warranty.
with recoil starter removed and in hand you have to grab the housing with one and the other rewinding the reel by twisting it counter clockwise until you can't any longer every time you twist hold with other hand to prevent the reel from spinning back once your at the end align the holes and place a small screwdriver and insert it through for it to stay together without unwinding.next is to tie a knot on one end of rope feed through handle then through the aligned holes and tie other knot then you carefully remove screwdriver and your rope will reel in:)
If it won't stay lifted when you twist the handle as tight as you can, then the lock valve may be leaking, Barbara. Examine the hydraulic cylinder - you may be able to spot a crack or something.
For now, though, just twist the handle clockwise as hard as you can. That valve is steel - it's VERY difficult to damage.
door lock latch is closed you need to release the locking mechanism at the side of door with screwdriver while holding door handle open to release the latch then door lock will operate as normal
No screws need to be taken out on a Kirby for a belt change. Take the nozzle off, remove the base plate with the 2 twist locks, pull the brushroll out. Puton the new belt, and re-assemble. Twist the belt lifter around the belt, replace the nozzle, spin the belt lifter back, and go vacuum
Turn stroller upside down (sans baby ;-) First spin each back wheel to check it turns freely and it's fully engaged into the chassis. Front wheels should spin easy and rotate 360. If this is all good check the handle locks, are both sides locked or is only one side locking causing the handle to twist and put uneven pressure on the chassis.
Hi, The handle that you use to pump that sprayer will twist and come out... then you pour the water and chemical through that larger hole...replace the pump...twist it tight and then pump the pressure...
To unfold the Raider, first press the red button in the middle of the handle and then twist the twist-grip in the direction of the arrow. Once you've done this, keep it twisted while you place your foot on the horizontal footplate. Once the chassis starts to open, pull sharply on the handles until both the primary and scondary locks engage. Make sure that the red latch is not visible, and check the security of the primary and secondary locks by gently pulling on the handle and pushing on the left and right mouldings.
You have to take the nozzle off. Then twist the handle to OFF position to catch and stretch the belt, put the nozzle back and then twist the knob to ON. Instructions with pictures HERE There is video manual on the front page on goodvac.com too...
