What does YVM102 issue mean on my talk talk you view mean?

This error message is typically displayed when there is a problem with the connection to your router, therefore you won't be able to access catch up TV, the on demand players (e.g. BBC iPlayer, 4oD or Milkshake) or any channels included with your TV Boosts.

Can I use ondemand tv without a broadband router

To the best of my knowledge I don't think you can. Basically, the 'On Demand' is like watching/using BBC iPlayer, and to do that you need to go on line. Therefore, to use the on demand on your TV you need to have your TV connected to the internet in some way, usually via a router. I am no expert, but I have on Demand and my TV 'speaks' to the internet via a router in another room.

Hope this helps

I have a Panasonic Viera TV which I have connected to my Talktalk broadband router by a Lan cable. I can connect to BBC iplayer ok but have been unable to set up the netwok services as I am required to...

If you are using a direct Cat5/6 cable connection between the unit and the modem, you should not have to enter any codes as this is a direct communication from one device to the other. If you were using Wi-Fi Wireless, ye; then you need codes to authenticate the connection.

I have a Panasonic Viera TV Model No> TX-L32D26B and suddenly have no signal for any of the BBC channels. What do I do?

Try reprogramming your set if you have not already. If that does not work you might want to adjust your antenna.

I have a Panasonic Viera tx l37g20b and i am attempting to connect it through a VGA cable. I have connected the laptop to the TV, but there is no option in the TV's menu to select the laptop as the input...

You should have a SOURCE select button on the remote control to select the input source. This should allow you to select the VGA input as the input source. You will also need to make sure your laptop is configured to output a signal via the external VGA port.

I have just retuned my panasonic TX32LXD1 and no longer get BBC 1/2 and 3.

Just come up against the same issue (ie none of the BBC Channels after Retune). Panasonic advised me that the TVs internal software needs updating and they are mailing out a card that is plugged in at the rear of the TV. Contact Panasonic Customer Services (you should find the number for this in the User Manual) and they will send you one of these and its free of charge.

HDMI connection with Panasonic DMP-BD35K Blu-Ray Disc Player

Try hooking the Panasonic up straight to the tv without going through the receiver. If it displays a picture its obviously not the blu-ray player. May also be a problem with the HDMI cable itself. Hope this helps.

What Blu Ray to buy for ONKYO TX-NR801 for Dolby TrueHD, etc???

Hi, as the Onkyo receiver you have does not have HDMI switching, the only thing it will do for you with a Blu-Ray player is process the audio signals.  The video from the BR player will have to go directly to an HDMI input of your hi def TV.  In this case, either Sony or Panasonic BR player will be equal.  Assuming you keep the Onkyo unit you have, you would want to use the optical digital output from the BR player as the audio source into one of the optical, digital audio inputs on the Onkyo.  In an ideal world, your receiver would some that does do HDMI switching.  This way, all the audio and video signals from any audio or video source would be automatically switched and channeled through 1 simple HDMI cable into your hi def TV.  This will make you life simpler as ther would be no need to select an appropriate input on the TV, as well as one on the receiver.  That said, buying a new receiver in addition to a BR player is more costly.  Good luck.  Let us know how it goes.
