My xbox360 screen freezes when playing homefront. what do i do?

You don't -play- the game from the harddrive, and nor does it make less noise if you install it.

When you install a game to your harddrive, it normally makes the game quicker to load, not for older games, I think Homefront is a "newer" game.

The benefits of installing the game is that your optical reader is less in use, that the game saves and loads quicklier and is normally better performance in-game.

it is a problem with the game makers servers if you live in america game works fine, but here in uk freezes all the time. if you try to play a ground war multiplayer is should work.

replce vedio card

this game is full of bugs and freezes regularly keep checking online for updates to patch the software. Or go to Thq website's forum and tell them how happy you are with the game and maybe they will have an estimated date to fix their software

make sure that you have enough room for ventilation around the ps3. does the unit get very hot at all ? turn it off and if there is a lot of dust just try and blow it off with the compressed air.

i got the same problem!!! but i can get past the logo screens if i dont sign in. but then, when i sign in, freezes again....
i even got a new copy same as you... same issue

i experience the same thing with my call of duty black ops what i did is go back to the store where i bought the game let them test it on there xbox and when they experience the same thing they just replace it with a new one and it then work properly...the problem is in the cd

you should try replacing the thermal compund.
