There should be a USB cable from one of the usb ports on your computer to a small square (upstream) USB port on the back of your monitor. This will activate the four (downstream) usb ports on your monitor.
Good luck...and I hope this is helpful!!

I had the same problem and I went to the first button on the monitor to the left(main menu) then with the button to the right (-) I scrolled down to factory reset. I also did the osd setting and I'm not sure what fixed it, but I havn't had the problem sence.

inside the power pack is a pulse IC chip they fail and cause all kinds of havoc also caps can cause issues unaccounted for, I would start at replacement of the IC about 2 dollars on E bay, and replace any bad capacitors you can see, they look domed or are leaking color from the top creases. after that get back with me and we can either proceed or you can rate me fixya, have a great weekend

reduce the hardware acceleration on it. I resolved it by reducing acceleration and changing my screen size. It works. I wanted higher resolution but it doesn't seem to be possible for some reason.
Good luck.
