DRM is a rights managment for copywritten music in WMA files, what you might want to do is download frostwire, download the music in MP3 format since you already purchased them music this would not be illegal as you have the hard copy of the DRM digitl media rights. If you downloaded this file from a illegal source then of course this will not wrok for you. I suggest you then purchase the music in MP3 format. You can purchase these for under 99 cents. But if you want you can use any p2p like frost wire www.frostwire.com but if you do so illegally we are not responsiable for the damages. We are trying to provide a solution to a LEGAL file format witch you might have lost the link to the rights.

    Thanks

    Regards

Downloaded songs from bearshare to windows media player to gogear but wont play music on gogear vibe says drm license not available file not supported?

Hi catie0077...

Thats becausethe tunes that you download are probably Itunes, and Itunes has a DRM on all movies/music/music videos.
What that means is the music will only work when they are in Itunes or are on other Apple products, like Ipad,Ipod, etc.
You will need to convert those songs from ACC to MP3 or WMA before they will play on your MP3 player.
You can get a free file converter at the following webpage: http://formatoz.com/

Why wont it let me listen to my music that I have transferred onto my galaxy samsung s phone. I'm getting the message "This item has expired. Connect to PC and download licence" What license????

You have encountered 'DRM' -- Digital Rights Management.
DRM is deployed to all you to play your music on _one_ computer, by granting you a "license" for that computer.
If you move the music-file to another computer, you must EXPORT and then IMPORT the license for that music-file.

Connect your Galaxy Samsung phone to your computer, and it will use the computer to download a license onto the Galaxy Samsung.

It will play for about three days then it says DRM license not avaliable it has done this twice

If you don't have DRM license for your music, it's because you haven't synced your player with the program on your computer in a while.
DRM is on your music because you most likely use a subscription service such as Napster or Rhapsody for your music.
Just plug your player into your computer and sync your device for the DRM license to refresh.

Drm license not available when i was trying to listen to my mp3 it wont let me listen to any type of song.

You need to plug your mp3 into the computer you downloaded your music from to sync it up. Go to that website and if you dont get a pop up asking if you want to sync your device. You should do this at least once a week.

Music files on MP3 player not playing due to license problem

This player was made before the advent of the DRM license system. You will have to use mp3 files or UNPROTECTED WMA's. DRM-license-protected WMA's - which is what most music services use - will not work on this player.

Playing Blue ray to my tv on HD pavillion dv9000

You are trying to play a music or movie file that uses DRM copy protection, generally windows media player and other DRM supportive players will try to acquire the license to play the content when you open it. If you are getting this message you eaither do not have the appropriate license to play the file, are not connected to the internet when playing, or their may be a problem with you DRM backup in windows.

I would contact the online store (where you got the file) and ask them about troubleshooting the problem if you believe the DRM license should be valid.

If you got the file from a friend or filesharing service you will not be able to use it and may as well delete it.
