Usually when buying a 2way radio they come with a headset (a headphone and a mic) all you need to do is cut the mic and headphone off using the wires for the headphone solder them to a speaker.

(the higher the power of the speaker the more it will drain your battery)

I am trying to program a xpr 4550 with a talkaround channel that is the same feq as a repeater channel with no luck.

Be sure "talkaround" is enabled on the code-plug, then use the "direct" or "talkaround" button on the front panel.

There is very little the end user can do. You need the programming software which must be purchased from Motorola with a Licensing agreement. Or you take it to a Licensed Dealer and pay them.

I have a motorola similar to razor and cannot hear incoming calls except through the external speaker or through blue tooth external . Have I switched something off inadvertantly or do I need a new phone?

you need to change the ear speaker, your ear speaker is dead
place new ear speaker it will solve the problem

I have a Motorola Barrage cell phone. The external speaker seems to have quit. The ear piece is working. I just can't hear my rings or use hands free speaker.

Phone contacts can hear me but I can't hear them in phone mode, I have to switch to external speaker mode

Dremel motor dead. Unit bought new, used twice; once to cut through a small screw with cutting wheel, and once to cut through the thin metal of a small wire shelf. Tool performed perfectly both times...

absolutely astounding! Had my Dremmel for 10 years and abuse it and use it it has been wet and its out in the shed. Never had a days trouble.

Now when it was in the case was the case shut? My thoughts are mice piddle which if it gets inside will corrode everything. I say this because a bigger drill of mine got damaged in that way. No external signs of damage but when opened the damage was there and it could also be then smelled.

My only other thoughts on this is to get you to check the plug to see a wire has not pulled off, after that I would suspect the dremmel switch has a fault.

all shots in the dark! but have to start somewhere when you are riding blind.

What kind Motorola radio is it? and I assumed that you mean main unit and control head. If you don't see an internal speaker in the control head then you need a external speaker hooks up to the back of it.
