I purchased a DELL laptop. Was told that Microsoft word full version was installed. I cannot activate it because of the product key. the Product key does not get accepted. Says it is invalid. I have checked and double checked the 25 digits and they are input correctly. The sticker is on the bottom of the laptop, it was not in other documents that accompanied the shipment. It was already afixed to the computer bottom. Can you help solve this and get me up and running? please.... many thanks.

The 25-digit key at the bottom of your laptop is for the Microsoft Windows and not for the MS Office. You have to confirm from the retailer if it was shipped with a licensed MS Office. If not, you need to uninstall it and then buy a new MS Office installer.

If the laptop is refurbished, second user or Recovered unit the number may already be registere.
The sticker you are looking at may be for the windows Operating System installed on the unit.
If you have bought this unit directly from Dell you should contact them for instructions.
