right click on the screen and a drop down menu will apear, choose properties or personalise depending on what operating system you are using and choose the tab for settings, in this this tab you will be able to change the resalution and other things. hope this helps.
Does it make a difference in Safe mode? Its Possible that your monitor or vidio are out of range Safe mode (f8) on botting will boot with the bare system settings, if safe mode works then reduce the resalution, Color and Possibly the monitor refresh rate
go to start, then to control panel, then to display, then to settings, screen resalutions set it to the size you want then hit apply then ok and it should be fixed
