Hi i'm having trouble charging my phone (sony ericsson w995). i have 3 chargers and when i plug each in the phone does not charge, however the headphones work perfectly well in that I can listen to music and speak to people i've called. can you advise what the problem may be. many thanks - avril

As if your using sony ericsson K800i some mobile phones as this problem as myself also faced the same problem sony ericsson mobile shows this error if you charge your mobile using connector or unsupported charges.You visit your nearest service center of sony ericsson and ask then to give branded sony ercsson charger for your mobile.After taking that charger you will not face this problem any more..your mobile is just perfect as new.Your connector or charger is having some problem with it. sony ericsson phones have their own two-prong charger/data plug. You will need to purchase another AC charger, or you can purchase a plug that has a female USB and use that. Good luck!

Hi,you can use a brush and a methylated spirit to clean the sport where you plug in charger.
But after cleaning,if not still charging, you can test charger with another phone, before replacing the charging port where you fix in the charger.

This problem occurs due to fault in your charger, The some problem came for me once...

• try replacing the charger with the ORGINAL Sony charger

Note:Don't use a charger that was manufactured by anyone but Sony Ericsson

Does the phone charge when you plug the charger in?

if you have a correct charger then the problem might be in your phone. i request you to give your phone to an authorised dealer. because the charging point in your might have broken or bent.
